What customers say
Great spot for outdoorsy types and families! Loved the easy trail access, clean facilities (pool included!), and helpful staff. Glamping pods were comfy. Can get busy weekends, and Wi-Fi's a bit iffy, but generally peaceful. Top marks!

Powered grass caravan site
Liked Great setting, well maintained pitches and wonderful playpark for kids.
Physical access good but A515 plagued by large Lorries.
Disliked Toilet / shower block very basic. No seating in shower cubicles.
Waste bins too small so overflowing by morning each day.

As much as I’ve mentioned some dislikes overall it’s a lovely place!
Glamping camping pod
Liked The site was lovely and well kept. The local takeaway list was a god send for our late arrival. FYI Bennys was insanely good. Everyone was friendly, peaceful and I liked the spacing between the pods. Very relaxing and good value. Can see us returning!
Disliked The bed is …… a challenge. I understand there is a space constraint but the mattress could have been better but it does the job.
Overall it was clean but just could do with a deep clean on things like the sofa. Also it seemed the tv remote batteries may have exploded but hadn’t been removed and remote cleaned so that was shall we say icky.

Liked Excellent en-suite pod- really clean, beds all made up on arrival. Powerful shower and quiet campsite with great access to the Tissington Trail and Dovedale stepping stones. The Old Dog does great food!

Outstanding
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Excellent. Forgot our towels and they were immediately provided without issue. My daughter also forgot to pack her toothbrush and toothpaste. The shop had shut and till closed for the day but was directed to help myself of the shelves. Paid for the items the following day. Site was spotless and the toilet and shower blocks very well kept. Ideal location to get onto the Tissington Trail with the dog. Fantastic stay, highly recommended.
