What customers say
A tidy, roomy campsite by the canal and pub. Staff are friendly & helpful, facilities (showers etc.) clean, pitches are a good size. Great for canal walks & local sights. Some road/rail noise noted – may affect light sleepers. Arrival signage/access occasionally causes minor confusion.

All good at this site

Liked Lovely set up. Right near marina and canal. Great pub 2 minutes walk on canal. Showers and toilets are in locked cubicles so very private and large. Don’t be put off by unisex on web site. Clean and tidy and reception staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely return 🤗
Disliked Washing up is a bit of a walk from pitch. Can hear the traffic and trains quite a bit but can’t see road 🛣️

Great little site on the canal but it is noisy at night from the train
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked The site is really large and open and clean. The bathrooms have individual toilets, showers and sinks. The site is adjacent to the canal and there is a fantastic pub a short walk away.
Disliked There are no washing facilities for clothes et cetera. The site is right next to the main road and really close to a main line train route. If you are noise sensitive either bring earplugs or choose somewhere else as the trains run almost through the night and when there is no other noise, you will hear them.

Great place to stay near Leighton Buzzard

Liked Massive pitches with elec and water on each. Showers were spacious with toilets and wash basin. Location was great, near walks along the canal. Shops within a short walk.

Rubbish

Liked Nothing really
Disliked Trains going past every 30 minutes day and night,
Road noise again day and night
Only 5 toilets for the whole campsite that’s for males and females to share.
Reception had to ask other campers where it was, shop is rubbish couple cans of coke that’s about it.
Not a nice site really
Would never stay again.
Given a pitch where we could not put our awning up no room and under tress.

Good for a short stay but a little unsatisfactory.

Liked Big open field with pitches around the edge. All very clean and tidy. Nice walks on canal towpath alongside site and marina. Having a pub next door is handy but it’s Fullers and so a bit chain-like.
Disliked Sadly, quite a bit. Booked on day of travel but we were not sent code for electric gates - arrived at 5:10 in the afternoon to find them (and office) closed and another camper let us in. No site map and NO signs where anything is - again had to ask others! The site is also the marina which led to some access confusion and the chemicals waste is beside the boats and bit awkward. No apparent grey waste on floors for campervans? Toilets are unisex which some women loath. Overall not quite right - maybe a marina with a campsite as second thought??

Plenty of room to pitch. …

Liked Plenty of room to pitch. Hot water in showers. Pub nearby. Town close by along the towpath
Disliked Constant noise from road, rail and aircraft, although leylandii have been planted to cut out the noise but it will be a number of years before these become effective.
Whilst the water in the showers was hot and at a good pressure the shower bases and tiles need a good scrub up

Disliked No dog foul bins, bit of a trek fom touring pitches to the 1 chemical waste point,
Didn't seem to b any waste water disposal,
Also with dogs very limited access to canal walks without crossing on the lock gates which is fine, but not 4 dogs
