Electric grass pitch
Liked Loved the laidback feeling of this site, excellent swimming pool and facilities always clean and well maintained. The people we met who manage the site are lovely and helpful. There are nice walks for our dog through the woods and into the local village.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Peaceful and quiet, you can hear some road noise but not intrusive . Cost £37 for two nights a Friday and Saturday night. Only facilities are water and elsan, but that’s OK for the price. Good walks from the site including the Meon Valley Trial. nice shop in the village, quite reasonable prices. Pub in village quite nice, but expensive. The pitches are huge, slightly sloping but nothing our self levelers could not cope with, but just a reminder you will need some kind of levelling equipment to get the van level.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked This site is excellent for a stopover on the way to or from Devon or Cornwall, facilities basic but effective and clean. Nicely situated for visiting the RNAS museum. Next door to a pub, which we didn't visit so cant comment other than that. Lovely welcome and no dramas with booking arrival or departure.
Disliked Not really dislikes but the road can be heard although not intrusive, and some of the pitches are sloping so you will need some method of levelling.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Lovely well kept site, arrival was easy and quickly managed, facilities well maintained and clean. Grounds well kept and good pitch services, had a superior pitch with tap, EHU, freeview and drain. Good size and hardstanding. Location good with a small shop not far from the end of the drive, and a nice 1/2hr walk into Stourport on seven along the river.

Liked This site is fab, even in the wet welsh weather. The staff are really helpful and phoned in the morning of our arrival to make sure we had the right postcode. The toilets and showers are kept really clean and are of a good standard, the location is perfect for cyclists with good off road tracks down into Aberdare, and another to a fantastic pub restaurant called Ton Glwyd Fawr in Cwmdare fantastic food and great service. The two on site cafes are great and there is also a lovely childrens playground as well as the 500 acres of country park, we will return.
Disliked While not dislikes the access can be tricky if cars are parked inappropriately in the local access roads, the showers, like a lot of sites, if your not careful your clothes will get wet.
