Electric hardstanding and grass campervan pitch (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Everything. The site was quiet, clean and had amazing views over the Lake. Noemi was so helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and the facilities were super as well. Snacks and drinks were available at the little bar as well as bread in the mornings and I couldn’t resist some olive oil toiletries to take home. We also cycled to an amazing restaurant (around 12mins on our bikes) called Taverna Kus which was fantastic.
Disliked Not a dislike but a lot of people have commented on the scary road up to the camp and they were right, it’s quite terrifying at times 😆, but it’s totally worth it!
Top tip…if you come from the other way (from the bottom of the lake) the road is so much better!!

Fully-serviced grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch (deluxe)
Liked Everything!! This was the best campsite we have stayed in during our 6 weeks in Italy. Beautiful large pitches, a great cafe bar, 10 mins walk to the cable car (and it’s worth a trip to the top, the views are breathtaking) and the small village has a couple of cafes, a mini market and another couple of shops.
Plus the facilities were among some of the best I’ve ever used in a campsite. Clean, spacious, lots of hot water and hairdryers available. We will certainly stay here again when we next travel. Plus lots of walking trails that our dog loved!

Chioggia, Venice, Italy
Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked Not usually a fan of large busy campsites but this one was really lovely. Spacious pitches, great facilities and very clean. The food in the restaurant was really good. Pool looked lovely although we didn’t get a chance to use it. But the best bit was the beach, private access and a while dog friendly area. Lovely clean sand and sea. We went into nearby Chioggia which is called Little Venice. Well worth a visit.
Disliked On site shop was a little basic, may have been because we were near the end of season. But not a problem as we walked into town to a supermarket.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked This campsite was delightful. The facilities were amazing. Each door opened to a large wet room with toilet, sink, mirror, rain head shower and plenty of hot water! Still very rustic in style but great for space and privacy. There was also a washing machine! The staff/owners were super friendly and showed us where everything was. We only stayed one night as we were breaking up a long journey so we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great and we didn’t explore nearby. The site was so peaceful and very clean. In quite a remote location but we loved that! We would certainly stay again if we are in the region!

Liked Great little campsite. We have stayed before but only stayed 1 night this time so we could see Shakespeare in the forest at Sutton Hoo next door. Nice big pitches and good facilities and only a short bike ride into Woodbridge.

Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked Large shaded pitches. Everyone very friendly. Great facilities and the shop/restaurant/bar were really good. Loved the private walk to the beach and a few minutes further on the dog beach where our dog could swim and hang out with all the other dogs. Plus there were loads of super forest walks on the way to the beach. Outside the camp in the surrounding areas there were lots of olive oil farms around and super fruit/vegetable stalls by the road.
Disliked Not a dislike and It was not a problem for us but If you don’t like noise/music the entertainment went on till 11pm.

Liked What a gem! Beautiful setting with a river running alongside. The campsite was clean and peaceful. The camp has an eco ethos so they tell you quite clearly to expect wildlife and that the showers run on solar panel but we loved everything. There was an amazing walk up through the forest to Rita’s pizzeria and although it was quite a trek it was beautiful. We paddled with the dog in the stream to cool down. We just wish we had
Disliked Not a dislike but be aware that the road to the site is quite remote and rural. We have off road tyres on our camper so it was fine but low or larger vehicles might find it a bit tricky.

Blue electric optional grass motorhome pitch
Liked Great facilities and pool. The bar and terrace were fantastic too. The staff were really friendly as well.
Disliked Our pitch was 2 metres from the road one side and next to the main site car park on the other side so it was a bit noisy a lot of the time. There were much nicer pitches further in to the site but as we were only there 3 days it didn’t bother us too much.

Liked Very peaceful with large pitches. Great location for exploring the area. Facilities were clean and the onsite cafe and shops were fantastic. They even do a menu for dogs! We will certainly let be back.
Disliked Not a dislike but I’m glad I read previous reviews as when I arrived it’s not obvious where to go! So just drive round the right hand side of the barn and the pitches are all behind and you choose your own pitch!
The facilities are under the restaurant! Hope that helps.

Electric optional grass pitch (riverside)
Liked One of our favourite sites. Set on the river in a beautiful little town the pitches are great and the facilities are really lovely. No outside shoes in the shower/toilet building so they supply slippers to keep the building clean and tidy. Staff are wonderful and the Boulanger around the corner opens at 6am.

Liked Great site, lovely staff. Bar and restaurant were fantastic. The facilities were lovely and really clean. The site was lovely with lots of walks nearby especially along the river to the local town which had lots of bars, shops and restaurants.
Disliked Just to note: the pitches were quite uneven and even more so after 2 days of heavy rain so make sure you have levelling ramps or similar!

Liked Great site, nice and quiet. Facilities were really good and clean. Staff were lovely and the bar was a good spot for a coffee in the sunshine. Pitches were a good size and everyone in the more permanent pitches were very friendly. Beautiful walk to the 2 nearby monasteries.
Disliked Not a dislike but not really anywhere to eat or drink close by when we went. The onsite restaurant was only open at weekends (Middle of September) Not a problem for us but if you are relying on it bear it in mind. Also a lot more expensive than anywhere else we have stayed but still lovely.

Electric gravel pitch
Liked The facilities at this site were some of the best I’ve seen (albeit a very long way away!) the snack bar was good and the staff were lovely. The actual pitches are very basic but with electricity and water. Very peaceful and obviously great if you want to get out on your mountain bike. If you hike up to the village there is a great little village shop and a bakery!
Disliked Not dislikes as such just observations. The facilities were a very long way away from the site, if you need to go in the night be prepared for a trek!
Also if you are not into mountain biking (my husband is but I’m not) then you are really quite isolated and the town (15 min walk up a huge hill) is very quiet.
