Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Loved the location with walks from the campsite, the campsite had a very relaxed feel, big pitch with bbq’s and fires allowed, dog friendly and a friendly welcome. Great wild camp experience but with the comfort of a quirky compost toilet and shower hut.
Disliked The site could have done with some more bins with recycling options and a wash basin/dish washing space would be very handy.

There were communal fire pits on site and picnic tables dotted around.
Pizza delivery from local village.

Disliked Some road noise.
No means to clean after yourself as there wasn’t a mop and bucket or anything to wipe the floor.
Hot water pressure.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We stayed in our camper van on a non electric grass pitch in the camping field which had great views and we had the use of a picnic table. We could choose where to park and check in was from 11 am so we parked up and went to the beach/for a walk for the day.
The campsite was very large but luckily it was quiet. Facilities were plentiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and the site had a cafe and shop and was dog friendly. It was cheap too!
Disliked Nothing to dislike for us but I wouldn’t want to go there in the height of season as it is a big campsite.
There was hardly any reception although we didn’t check the wifi

Liked Clean toilets and showers (50p) with great music playing, friendly welcome and good pitch size. Walks from the campsite and dog friendly. Easy access (no narrow, windy roads). Good price for the campsite.
We loved the early check in and late check out times.
Disliked Although the campsite is dog friendly, you are not allowed to walk your dog on the site. Charging £2 for a dog and not even providing a dog poo bin is a bit poor.
