What customers say
Litton Lakes gets the thumbs up for its lovely setting, sound staff, and ample pitches. The lake's a big draw for swimming and paddleboarding, with the cafe and local pub also a hit. Facilities are usually grand, though a few mentioned a bit of bother with water pressure and dim loos. Most love the chill vibe, but some found it a tad packed or rowdy, especially with big crowds. Folks agree that upgrading the toilets and showers would be a good shout.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great campsite, lovely lake, nice and flat pitches, very friendly and helpful.
Disliked The only thing I found a problem with was the water pressure in the showers, sometimes it literally became a dribble when other people were using the toilet/sinks/other showers etc, this really needs sorting out.

Lovely location, extensive recycling bins. Clean facilities
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Really lovely spot, lake is beautiful, great coffee on our last morning. Fantastic that you could use firepits and enjoyed the relaxed approach to where you can pitch.
Disliked Lack of mirrors in the new toilet block, and water pressure was a bit disappointing. Also check in by mobile (as cafe was shut) was not very successful and fire pit hire wasn’t an option because it had been locked away 10 mins before the time we had originally been told to come back.

The site was stunning, peaceful and well kept. Flat even ground.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site, the views. Really flat for a tent and peaceful l. Lovely walks around and plenty of fun to have on the lake.
Disliked The showers and water pressure. This was horrendous, no point trying to have a shower really. We made do with what we could and it never stopped us enjoying the break.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The lake was a great attraction at the park, everyone had so much fun paddle boarding on the water.
Disliked The showers, very poor water pressure. People shouting to others to turn of taps ect.

An amazing site which we will definitely be returning to.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked *Friendly staff at check in
*Large pitches
*Beautiful views
*Huge open field for the kids to play
*Amazing paddleboarding/swimming lake which kept our kids entertained for hours
*Clean grounds
*Dog walking field
Disliked *The toilets nearest to the lake weren't very clean and sadly didn't smell great at all. No soap in dispensers on several visits. Yes we could have phoned the warden and reported it, but to be honest we had expected the toilets to have been cleaned regularly and that this would have been sorted.
* Most non electric pitch campsites we've visited recently have a shared fridge and or freezer. This would be a great addition at Litton Lakes.

Beautiful chilled site would go again
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Chill campsite,
Generous pitch size,
Friendly,
Natural,
Sustainable.
Beautiful area and lake.
Disliked FYI - water pressure is low for showers and hand washing. Not a negative, it’s ties in with sustainability and the solar power.
