Very picturesque & quiet campsite.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very quiet peaceful campsite, away from the main road but still very accessible. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the view was beautiful. The showers were lovely, very warm and clean. The town of Honinton is very easy to get to by car.
Disliked The fire pits available to rent aren't suitable for cooking on, so either bring your own, or a portable hob like we did. Be warned, as it is on top of a hill the wind can get quite strong, so I'd advise bringing some sort of windbreak.

Brilliant little campsite!
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely campsite, clear directions on how to find the site, sign in to the visitors book and choose where you fancy to pitch up. Great views down the valley, cold water washing up stations, hot water showers and compost loos. All very clean and well kept, plus great value - thank you!

The site was a nice small…
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked The site was a nice small space with a couple of fields to choose from. I was lucky as hardly anyone else there, just the way I like it. Lovely view looking across the countryside
Disliked Nothing wrong with the site, not ideal area if you bring your dog.
- Nowhere to walk the dog without needing to drive.
- Sadly some shooting was going on just as I arrived that terrified my dog. He spent the trip hiding under the van.
Not the site owners fault but might be worth a note for future campers in case they have a dog that is fearful of shooting.

From the manager: Hi Kylie, thanks for your review. Its a shame you have us a low rating based on things that are out of our hands - we have contacted our neighbor to ask that he let's us know if he's using his crow scarer to protect his crops but tbh we've never heard this before and weren't aware of it being a problem.
People are welcome to walk their dogs around our fields on a lead, we will make sure to make this option clearer on our welcome board for next year.
