Liked Lovely campsite, clear directions on how to find the site, sign in to the visitors book and choose where you fancy to pitch up. Great views down the valley, cold water washing up stations, hot water showers and compost loos. All very clean and well kept, plus great value - thank you!

Liked Loved this peaceful site with brilliant facilites, I was one of two vans when I stayed so very quiet, expect when it is full in summer it's less quiet!

Liked Loved the remote location, I arrived in the afternoon mist but was lucky enough for it to clear overnight. Great walks from the site. The owner popped by and was very friendly. The toilet facilities were clean and well set out, cold water only but more than adequate.

Liked Easy check in, good toilet facilities, friendly staff, showers on the other side of the farmyard but were spacious with lots of hot water so worth the little extra walk! Large camping field and walks from the door! Thank you

Liked Spacious pitches, in fact I had the lower field to myself with great views. Lovely welcome and explanation of the site from Dave. Fantastic hot showers and the facilities were all clean and well thought out. Even got to meet some local hedgehogs on the way back after evening ablutions, mine not theirs! - thank you!

Liked Friendly helpful welcome. Clean facilities. Great dog walks from the site, we walked to Dawlish Warren then on to Dawlish. Flat pitch with electric.

Disliked Having to set up an account to pay for electricity in advance was a bit of a pain but I suppose it means you only pay for what you use. Reception did say if I needed to obtain a refund for any money not used I could do that, but to be honest I didn't bother. The £10 minium covered my 2 nights and I haven't logged on to check how much was left.

Liked Very well kept site with flat spacious pitches - lovely quiet rural location, great for star spotting on a clear evening - clean facilities - very good free wifi - friendly hosts - brilliant dog walking field and hooks to tie up dogs outside the facilities, very useful - thank you!

Liked Helpful text in advance of arrival to explain where to go - clean well stocked facilities, lots of hot water for shower and washing up - spacious level field to park up - lovely pub within walking distance and helpful owners providing info about the Craven Hills discovery centre, perfect for a dog walk and a spot of lunch before heading off.

Liked Lovely countryside site, lots of room, friendly helpful reception and clean facilities. Just dropped one star on the facilities as they are unisex which was fine for me but others may prefer a separate toilet block.

Liked A beautiful setting within a 10 minute walk of the town. Having your own portaloo worked well as did the timed sessions for the shower. Met a couple of hedgehogs on my 2am toilet trip!!
