What customers say
A gem of a site, quiet with a lovely lake. Owners are grand and the facilities, including eco loos, are top notch. Plenty of space, a new food bar, fishing, and all very green. A bit of road noise and soggy woods after rain, but they listen to you.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (lake view)
Liked As a family we loved the camp, 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
It was quiet but a little hum of others enjoying themselves around the fire pits.
New Wildfire refreshments made breakfast and dinner an easy option and having a little drink while you wait.
We loved the rustic feel to the washing area and the compost toilets were something new but easy to use.
We loved our long weekend and look forward to returning.
The owners are extremely nice and make you feel so welcome.

100% would come Again.
Non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked Great little basic site. At a reasonable price.
Fishing lake also an option I didn’t realise. Great location with a traditional campsite appeal. I loved the little walk around the lake and the handy wheel barrow to help move heavy kit.
Disliked Dispite a very rural location it seemed like a could here traffic. Not sure if it was the wind or just a particular busy night. Not bad enough to keep me up but odd considering it felt so out the way.

Great facilities, brilliant showers, eco friendly,…
Non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked Great facilities, brilliant showers, eco friendly, spacious pitches, friendly and helpful owners, not thousand of rules!!
Disliked Only minor negative would be as it had been raining the woodland pitches were very boggy, just a little note when booking about this potential, no drama and didn't affect our love of the site
