What customers say

Lovely, spotless site. Great modern eco-toilets, always hot water. Peaceful lakeside setting, friendly owners. Minor parking issues in rain, some new site touches ongoing. Highly recommended for a tranquil break.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch

Liked Stunning location. Quiet but well attended. Fab fishing opportunity for hubby and teen boys. Loved the fact we could use our hammocks and own fire. Toilets and showers and washing up area really, really clean, bright despite heavy use. We will definitely be returning. We are local so was nice just to head away for a few days. Will fish year round now we know this little gem is here.
Staff approachable and accessible.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (lake view)

Liked A lovely little spot to camp with well thought out facilities and a friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked The site is situated right off of the road which at times can be noisy especially with farm traffic. Not a huge deal but worth noting for those with children or people who are sensitive to sudden sounds ect.

Greenfinch bell tent (basic)

Liked The tent was already for us, lovely picnic bench and the fire pit was ready for use. Although we do not fish the lake was lovely to go for a walk around with my 2 little ones before bed.

Disliked Eco toilets... lots of flies and very smelly and didn't feel very sanitary but that's my personal preferences

Liked Mostly an excellent site and I can heartily recommend.

Sunsets were amazing.

Calm and peaceful.

Clean and tidy ablutions and washing up area
