Quiet, basic site, great value. Spacious pitches, lovely peace, handy for beaches. Hot showers, fridge, charging points are grand, a bit dated though. Owners are dead on. Showers can be a bit cool, could do with more loos, but they're sorting it.

Liked Great communication from owner, flexible to add on another person at short notice after booking. Basic facilities but perfectly functional and great for low cost price paid. Plenty of space to pitch. Suggest having chocks/blocks if in a van in case no flat spaces left.

Liked The chilled atmosphere how close to the beaches it is being able to use a fridge and freezer it's never toooooo busy!! Toilets kept on top off throughout our stay the kids had freedom to roam around all in all would definitely be back!!
Disliked Not a dislike more just a bit of feedback the two old cubicles that were showers could be turned into toilets to avoid a queue that would sometimes form not often but sometimes 🙈 and that is me being picky we love this campsite!!!

Liked Bell tent was spacious and well pitched. Great location for exploring the north coast. Low price. Fridge and freezer handy although other inconsiderate with the amount kept in there and had done and entire weekly shop for a large family!
Disliked Lack of owner/manager presence meant low noise curfew was not enforced so loud noise from others on the site until midnight some nights which did not suit us as have young children who are up at 5.30am! And use of unsafe fires in very dry weather.
No recycling which was disappointing. When staff came to empty the bin he kindly took our recycling to put in his own.
Bell tents close to toilets, wash up and exit so busy with people and cars.
Fresh water and waste disposal not signed.
Only 3 toilets.
Shower temperature not adjustable and was too hot for the children.

Liked Cheap and cheerful, had someone cleaning the toilets regularly. Nice and close to beaches and bakery, small shop, pubs chippy, Chinese, garage all within walking distance. Didn’t get bothered by anyone and was just left to go not ourselves. We had a great time. Thank you ☺️
Disliked Only 3 toilets for the whole campsite and they were unisex.
