Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Location, this is a quiet site in a very nice rural setting. There is a pleasant walk to Glasson Docks.
Despite not actually seeing anyone in person connected with the site, there was good communication via text messages. In particular, regarding directions to the site, avoiding narrow access roads.
The pitches are a good size and not too close to each other.

Disliked The amenities block was not cleaned over the 2 nights we stayed there. We didn't see any members of site staff over the duration of our stay.
Toilet roll in both ladies and gents toilets was in short supply, counter tops around sinks became dirtier during our stay.
Although, not a major issue, I would not have expected this to be the case.
The access lane to the site could use some maintenance, passable but certainly have to take care. I think over all, the site looks a little care worn and could do with a little attention, whilst we would stay here again I think we would be careful to check that things had not deteriorated any further. For us it is on the cusp and could go either way!

Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Spacious pitch, shower and toilet excellent, really clean and good washing up facilities. Instructions to get to location good….avoid Sat Nav directions very important, we could see why when coming back without towing from shopping how narrow the road was…we would have been doomed !
Garden Centre and cafe really nice to walk to….and the Stork pub !

Disliked Noise from the trail bikes in fields nearby….as weather was really good, became very irritating when sitting outside….not sure if it was because a B/ Hol weekend though.

Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked A wonderfully quiet location five minutes south of Lancaster. Easy walking distance from the historic Glasson Dock along the disused railway line. A lovely spot.
Toilets and showers were immaculate with just a slight smell of wee to prevent it being perfect. Lovely large shower cubicles with overhead rain type shower heads.
Highly recommended.
