What customers say

Classy spot, spotless, with great views and a peaceful vibe. Owners are dead sound, pitches are huge, and the facilities are top-notch. Loved the fire pit hire and dog field. Just watch out for narrow roads and the odd bit of noise.

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked Well maintained, clean hot showers

Disliked Have to get there early as you cannot book a designated pitch. Lots of kids running around our tent, tripping on the tent ropes but I know that’s not the site owners fault

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked How clean the campsite was.. wash areas kept very clean.
Lovely open space. Lots of room to play.

Disliked Pitches aren't marked out so tents are placed where people put them, sometimes taking up multiple spaces. For us this meant no simple access to an electric hook up. With a disabled child this caused some worries about charging equipment needed every day. Was not aware campsite had extensions which solved the issue.

From the manager: Thank you for the glowing review. Usually we have markers out but we had removed them this week due to some children re-enacting Lord of the Flies Rated 18 Version!!!

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked They had freezers on site you could use. Shower and toilet block always stocked and clean.
The fire pits you can hire are brilliant.
Owners/managers were really helpful and clearly take pride in their site.
Already planning to book again.

Disliked Water pressure in showers could have been a bit stronger.
Whilst the shop was really nice and stocked some nice things it doesn't stock the basics/ bare essentials which would be nice.

From the manager: Thank you for the glowing review... Water pressure is 3 bars so is as powerful as we can get onsite. With regards to the shop we currently don't do anything fresh, if you can give us some feedback as to what you would like to see in the shop then we can adapt as needed. We have spoken to a local farm shop with a view to supplying breakfast hampers.Love the photos you have put on....
