What customers say

Top spot! Orcaber Farm gets the thumbs up for spotless facilities, plenty of space, and a lovely setting. Staff are grand, the shop's well-stocked, and it's great for families and dogs. Fire pits and food are a hit. Mostly peaceful, but can be a bit lively during busy spells. Excellent value, folks want to come back.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked As I was non electric I could park up anywhere on the field, there were no marked pitches which I like.
The toilets and showers have to be the cleanest I have ever seen.
Takeaway pizzas and burgers on the Saturday evening was so good, so you skip the extra pots for washing.
There were also picnic tables/benches available.
And as a solo female I felt really safe.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked This is our second time staying at this Campsite and once again we had a brilliant time! Everywhere is immaculately clean and outdoor spaces very neat and tidy. The people who run the site are friendly and work hard to keep the site looking so good. Enjoyed seeing Gary and Enid again. We will definately be back, looking forward to it.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked In a camper-van, but without services. Close to the shower block which was pristine. In low season so v quiet - only a handful in the tent field. Appreciated that we could hire a fire pit, which is brought to the pitch if required. Cant fault the facilities & the backdrop is beautiful! Loved looking out at the surrounding scenery whilst we were there.

Local attractions

The Three Peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent in close range are a topping location for walkers – if you're here to hike, see if you can complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to tackle the 24 miles around all three in one day. Orcaber Caravan Camping Site is also near the famed Ingleton Waterfalls Trail for woodland-based walks among spectacular northern scenery, and within easy driving distance of the waterfalls, stalactites and tours of the spectacular White Scar Caves, the longest show cave in the UK. Also recommended by the Orcaber team are the Settle to Carlisle railway line, through 73 miles of spectacular countryside through the Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines, and passing splendid Ribblehead viaduct. The limestone formation of Malham Cove, a famed Yorkshire Dales beauty spot, is also a popular local spot. Yet more walks, hikes and heaps more spectacular scenery are at the Lake District National Park, about an hour's drive away.
