Grand spot for families, spotless loos and sound owners. Plenty of room on pitches, with secure ones for dogs and kiddies. Games room, animals and play zones are a hit. Nice views from the country. A few mention only one loo/shower each, but it's grand with the size of the place.

Liked First time coming and what a place! We loved it, even though we was hit with an incredible storm!
The kids play room and kitchen was a godsend and Michelle even gets the animals out for kids to walk and pet, all of them are rescues and she clearly loves them all very much. Dog walking area, swings and play area for kids. Its brilliant!
Small enough to feel the family vibes, and clearly loved by the regulars. Close to Beamish which we finally made it to thanks to Michelle letting us stay a little longer. She is great with kids including neurodiverse and the whole thing was awesome even though our socks nearly blew off in the storm.
There are gorgeous carvings everywhere and some of the pitches even have gated gardens for your dogs. The toilets are the showers are the cleanest and warmest I have ever seen on a caravan site!
We will defo be back! Thank you Michelle and family

Liked Last minute stay at Bonners Lodge. A very warm and friendly welcome and introduced to some of the animals. The open games room and kitchen was excellent and we spent the evening in there, playing games, pool and watching tv.

Liked This is a gem. We stayed for two nights and we were so lucky to find Bonners Lodge. It is a small site with 10/11 piches I think. We had a lovely warm welcome and a great, informative tour of all the facilities. The facilities are fantastic. The showers and toilets are extremely clean and there is ample space in the showers to keep your towels, shoes and clothes from getting splashed (sadly lacking in some sites and more expensive ones too). There is a games room on site. It's warm and includes pool table, table tennis and assortment of board games, books to swap or take (the owner is a firm believer that books should travel). The games room also has a dining table, sofa, fridge, cooker and more, and all free to use.
The pitches are a great size, andall have beautiful views. There are a selection of farm animals (pets), goats, sheep, a donkey, pony and more. Two lovely friends labrador.
I could ramble on and on about how great this site is.
It is great value.

Liked The site was lovely and quiet, seeing the animal was such a great experience. The toilet and shower were so clean and loved the little personal touches with the hand soap and lotions. Paul who helps maintain the site was such a lovely bloke and spoke so highly of the owner Michelle and also the animals. This was our first Camper Van night away in the van and it was amazing!
