What customers say

A gem for dog owners! Praised for spacious, spotless pitches & great facilities, including a cafe & doggy play areas. Owners are welcoming, the atmosphere peaceful. Toilets/showers mostly clean, though a few noted minor issues. Highly recommended, guests want to return.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Peaceful and very welcoming.
Toilets and shower were very clean and tidy. A great deal of space to pitch and amazing lush grass meadow.
Cafe is amazing with great food and lots of vegetarian options alongside a farm to table style menu that offers superb breakfasts, lunches, cakes and coffee.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Very friendly and excellent communication from the host, Kathryn. The children loved having the farm animals being so close, especially feeding Domino the friendly goat leaves. The site is peaceful. The onsite cafe was lovely and especially loved by our Cocker Spaniel. It proved a great base to explore Norwich, Cromer & The Broads. Facilities (toilet & shower) were basic, but very well maintained. If we ever want to stay in Norfolk again, we wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

Disliked Nothing. Perhaps the very occasional tractor & trailer trundling by on the back road early a couple of mornings, but nothing to report here :o)

Electric grass pitch

Liked Friendly Staff
Lovely and quiet
Loved watching all the dogs playing in the dip and dive pool
Toilets are basic but clean and tidy

Disliked Shower. Not enough room to dry and dress would need to go back to van
Not enough facilities if a lot of people camping.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Doggie heaven holiday!!! Small enclosed camping field so not busy, large pitches. Great cafe and food. Has enclosed social dog park as well as an additional dog park for reactive dogs. An agility course and a swimming pool for dogs that you can go in with them too.
Clean toilets and shower.

Disliked Avoid pitch 4, it's not flat at all. Wasn't a problem for me because the pitches were huge but if busy and that's the only pitch then I would reconsider.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks for the great review
Oddly we have a regular visitor who always chooses pitch 4 for his tent!!
Hope to see you again

Wonderful site and facilities. We’ll definitely return.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Great location with good facilities, WC & showers. Site was quite level and well cared for. Owner very pleasant and informative. Great added bonus is the on-site cafe which served some delicious food and the Canine Dip & Dive doggy swimming pool which was the main reason we stayed here. Our Sprockerpoo really enjoyed the swimming! The farm also allows walking around lots of their fields too which allows a walk direct to Wymondham.

Local attractions

Flick through the history books… the two towers of the Benedictine Wymondham Abbey (five minutes' drive) aren’t hard to spot from afar – and there’s fab architecture inside too. For other trips back to times past, you could travel along the Mid Norfolk Railway (five minutes) or nosy around Norwich (20 minutes) to look at the cathedral, castle and market. In Wymondham, perhaps pay a visit to the Wymondham Heritage Museum (five minutes) or the arts centre at Becket's Chapel. And for beaches, make your way to Gorleston (50 minutes), Cromer (an hour), Wells-next-the-Sea (an hour) or Holkham (an hour and five minutes). Chat to the site about hiring a beach hut if you wish. For activities that will take you to the trees, Thetford Forest Park (35 minutes) is all about those peaceful forest walks and picnics – or, for those more adventurous types, Go Ape Thetford (40 minutes) will give you a birds’ eye view of the forest from the obstacle course and zipwires in the treetops. Whether you’re a big kid or you’ve got ones of your own, there are plenty more family-friendly activities around these parts. Perhaps a zoo day at Banham Zoo (25 minutes) or catching an event at the Norfolk Showground (15 minutes)? Boating on the Norfolk Broads (half an hour) or daring to go on the dinosaur-themed rides at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure (25 minutes)?
