What customers say
Grand site, spotless facilities, spacious pitches, and a lovely adults-only section. Staff are a decent bunch, and Barney's Bar does the grub well. Peaceful generally, though a bit of a kip with noise and busy facilities now and then. Great for seeing North Norfolk.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked All the trees were fab
The toilet and shower block and the dish washing facilities were all great. Well appointed and clean.
The nearby walks, we walked every evening and saw a multitude of bats as well as a fox and an owl.
Disliked The Saturday night entertainment on August bank holiday. I'm sure he was a lovely chap but he used a backing track and he sang off key. I wouldn't want to hear that again.

All in all this was an amazing site and would 100% book again
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Mostly everything. It was a nice clean site with great showers and toilets. Staff where really friendly and food at Little Barney's was amazing. Also loved the fact we weren't allocated a with for our tent so we could choose which one we wanted.
Disliked The tent electric pitches were layed out weird and they could do with being marked out abit better

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (adults only)
Liked Brilliant campsite couldn’t fault it all stayed in adults only section
Disliked Not sure why the bar wasn’t open everyday or why it was only takeaway food as this was expensive

Overall a great site and would recommend
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (adults only)
Liked Beautifully kept site. Shower block very clean and well maintained.
Staff consistently emptying bins
Disliked Our only dislike was the gravel pitch was very hard to put pegs in so we had to buy new rock pegs and borrow a metal mallet from someone else who said everyone was borrowing it. Maybe a warning on site to alert people to this beforehand. We have a footprint groundsheet plus carpet and it was very sharp underfoot when not wearing shoes.

It has everything you'd need but noisy and crowded during peak times
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The facilities were lovely! They were clean and modern. The bar was well stoked, the shop had everything you'd need. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find and well situated for attractions.
Disliked Pre-ordered food from the pub onside before we arrived on the suggestion of the venue. The menu online only showed burgers so that's what we ordered. On arrival we relalised there were more options that weren't online. The menu needs tk be updated.
The campsite was very crowded. We struggled to find a view that didn't look directly at someone else tent.

A lovely place to stay in a great location!
Wensum 2 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow
Liked Nice spacious, private cottage with good outside space. Had everything we needed, well equipped. Beds very comfortable and everything spotless. Added bonus was Barney’s Bar which supplies tasty food and the onsite shop for the basics.
Disliked Only thing was that there was an occasional smell in the bathroom, probably due to the cesspit which was not very pleasant.

Overall great stay
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (adults only)
Liked Beautiful site. Clean and well looked after. Good facilities.
Disliked Toilets limited to two in the block so limited during busy times. Ran out of loo paper regularly so caught short few times!

Loverly site, well maintained and spotless.…
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (super, adults only)
Liked Loverly site, well maintained and spotless. Both shower blocks very clean and lovely hot water. Very strict with arrival and departure time, but understandable because of the narrow lane, we had no problems. We stayed on the adult pitches that are very big, plenty of room for caravan, awning, car. Nice and quiet. We did enjoy ourselves 😁👍🏻
Disliked But.....the only thing that spoiled it for us was I think we was only pitch that had a overhanging oak tree which resulted in acorns dropping usually on a night which sounded like a war zone, 3 nights of broken sleep. Reception were really understanding and kind (we did have a giggle about the acorn saga ). You can't help nature I get that and there was no where else for us to pitch so we unhooked everything and moved forward and down very lucky the pitches were so big and it made it alot better. Should have done it after first night 🤷♂️note to self...look up when pitching 😁👍🏻 note to owners...maybe look at pruning in the winter 😁👍🏻 still enjoyed ourselves 👍🏻
