  • Well-kept quiet site surrounded by the Worcestershire countryside
  • A five-minute drive from a farm park; 20 minutes for steam train trips
  • Public footpaths, pub and restaurants nearby; 10 miles from the M5
At Twin Oaks Caravan and Camping, you’ll be set to spread your wings into the Worcestershire countryside. With a 20-acre site as your nest, the scenery is strong here, powered by sweet sunets and splendid views over the river Severn, Shrawley Woods, Red Marley Hill and Abberley Clock Tower. This may be a rural spot but that doesn’t mean it’s too far away from the buzz of the local attractions. 10 miles from the nearest M5 junction, you’ll be able to branch off to Worcester or Kidderminster 20 minutes' drive away – and if you’re just planning on a quick stop over as part of a longer journey, this is a convenient place to do so. Those of you who don’t feel quite right without your pet by your side will be happy to find this site welcomes pets as well as families. It’s a quiet and peaceful set-up, so you can get in quality downtime, whether on site or following the way of the river Severn or countryside public footpaths close by. How about those tasty food spots? Well, there are a few good picks around, including a Thai and Indian restaurant with takeaway and delivery 35 minutes’ walk away or a timber-framed pub 10 minutes’ drive away. The facilities on site are well-kept, clean and tidy – there’s a facilities block with toilets and showers plus a washing-up area and an Elsan point for chemical waste disposal (green chemicals only).

What customers say

A lovely, peaceful spot with grand views. Pitches are grand and tidy. Toilets and showers are always clean. Owners are dead helpful. A few found no shops nearby and the roads a bit tight. Sometimes the shower water was a bit lukewarm or ran out fast. Great for a quiet break away.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Peaceful atmosphere, so quiet during the night. Lovely views.
Toilet facilities were clean and the taps ran hot water quickly. There were only 2 toilets on site but barely had to wait to use them. Washing up facility and drinking tap water next to it.

Disliked Nice little shower facilities but I couldn't get any hot water to run so had to give up with that.

It is a little remote so not able to walk anywhere close to site.

Lack of Wi-Fi but it forced us to get off our phones and into the camping experience so not so bad.

From the manager: Hello Kate,

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re really pleased you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views and wonderfully quiet nights. 😊

It’s great to hear you found the facilities clean and practical, and that you didn’t have to wait despite there being only two toilets. We’re also glad the hot water and washing-up facilities were appreciated.

I regularly check the shower temperatures and have not needed to replace the gas so unsure why the water was cold, it was lovely and warm today....

Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Twin Oaks again soon. Happy camping! 🌿⛺

Liked Big open skies - great sunset views. Really quiet and clean site.

Disliked Showers are quite draughty, so need to keep brief!

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Claire,

Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so pleased you enjoyed the big open skies, spectacular sunsets and the peace and cleanliness of the site. 😊

The showers are rustic, traditional, old-fashioned campsite showers with lovely warm water. I get many compliments about them, but I completely appreciate that they’re not for everyone!

All of our facilities are pictured on our website, so campers can see exactly what we have to offer before arriving and decide whether the site is right for them.

Thanks again for staying with us, and all the very best. Happy camping! 🏕️

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Spacious camping area, good utilities (water, power). Nice personal welcome and touch points from my the host.
The views from campsite are wonderful. The pitches are good size on flat surface.

Disliked Toilets could do with a more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The showers are good but quite drafty (poor shower block insulation). The location is m remote with access on very narrow roads with limited passing places. Occasionally there was night noise from barking dogs at the neighbouring houses.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a detailed review. We’re really pleased you enjoyed the spacious pitches, the beautiful views, the flat ground and the personal welcome. 😊

I’m sorry you felt the toilets needed more frequent cleaning and maintenance. We do take great pride in keeping the facilities clean, so your comments are genuinely helpful and will be taken on board.

The shower block is intentionally quite rustic and open, which does mean it can feel a little drafty, particularly in cooler weather. The facilities and their style are shown on our website so guests can get a good idea of what to expect before booking.

We’re also very much a countryside location, accessed via narrow rural lanes, and unfortunately the occasional barking from neighbouring properties is outside our control. We appreciate that the remoteness is part of what makes the site peaceful and gives us those wonderful views, but we understand it won’t suit everyone.

Thanks again for staying with us and for the constructive feedback. All the best and happy camping! 🌿⛺

Tom

From the manager: Thank you for the lovely review! 😊 We’re really pleased you found the site clean, affordable and that our communication was helpful.

We agree, the nearest pubs are a bit of a walk! 🍻 But sometimes that’s the price of staying somewhere peaceful and tucked away in the countryside! 🌳But what a lovely walk it is!

Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Twin Oaks in the future. 😊
