What customers say
This peaceful, well-kept spot boasts grand views and proper wild camping. Guests rave about the amazing sunsets, calm feel, and charming rustic touches. The owners are often praised for being sound. Facilities are basic but clean. Some found it tricky finding level ground due to grass, and there were no bins. Showers are now in and are brilliant.

Absolutely beautiful spot with a friendly host, basic but perfect!
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Cannot recommend highly enough! Especially for kids!!This was our first trip camping as a family and wanted somewhere fairly cheap and basic to get a feel for it! On arrival the facilities looked basic but neat and clean, in keeping with surroundings BUT they were actually fantastic!!! Covered washing up area had soaps to use and a shelf full of plates to borrow PLUS a bunch of toddler toys and books including cars and bikes - our little one was thrilled! The loos are basic composting loos but are so well kept, luxury loo rolls inside with a shelf of books to borrow plus a kids seat and stool and a low handle to make it easy for kids and the sink also has a step to make it accessible for little ones. We didn’t use the showers as we just did one night but they looked very clean and nice.
Views were amazing, there were other campers but not at all over crowded. Unfortunately we weren’t able to have a campfire because of dry conditions but if we had, there were the facilities to do so. Host was also really lovely!
Would defo recommend l!
Disliked It was VERY windy during our stay - obviously not at all the fault of the campsite but there wasn’t really a shelter spot so just something to bare in mind

Liked Firstly, THERE IS SHOWERS! Don’t be put off! There are two clean, spacious showers on site.
A beautiful place to stay! The sunsets are amazing here, overlooking some beautiful views!! There is also a toilet block and dishwashing facilities. It’s a simple place to stay, but a beautiful one if you enjoy the simple things in life!
No WiFi but signal was perfect.
Disliked There are no bins so just be aware of this when you plan to go! Take some bin bags with you 😊

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Everything ! Beautiful , quiet location to watch the sunset. Pitches spread out so not camping on top of each other.
Shower wasn’t working so I messaged Matt and he got it sorted straight away even though it was 9-9:30 pm. Once going ,a great shower with plenty of room.
We’ll definitely be back

Lovely site with amazing views
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely site with excellent views!
Close to Shipston-on-stour where we ate at the horseshoe and Casa Italian which were both lovely. Firepits and wood available on site. Toilets were clean and stocked with toilet paper. Washing up facility which had drinking water available to refill containers. Close to national trusts and lovely villages. Owner was great and made sure to check in, asking if anything was needed and gave some great recommendations for food.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful view and well kept. Site was immaculate.
Was basic, in line with description, which is perfect for those wanting a quieter camping environment.
The compost toilet was the best I’ve ever used - decorated in a fun quirky manner.

A great option for a more “wild” camping experience, a beautiful view.

Liked Beautiful location, stunning views, and totally peaceful. We had the whole field to ourselves. Rustic and minimalist, with very cute compost toilets, and an outdoor covered kitchen area.
