This adults-only spot boasts spotless facilities and a great canal-side location, perfect for walks. Enjoy the on-site cafe, fishing, and dog field. Road noise is a minor issue for some, but most pitches are grand.

Liked Site was very clean, flat and well maintained. Apart from the busy road noise now and then it is a lovely tranquil site with the canal running behind it. Facilities are very good with secure dog exercise area and the toilet and showers are top rate, immaculately clean and well maintained with lovely hot water and even music piped in when anyone enters the toilet, shower block. Would have to go a long way to find better. Only stayed the one night but will definitely go back for a longer stay in the future.
Disliked Nothing.

A brilliant little site
The Little Barn camping pod (no pets)
Liked What a great site this was. We had originally planned to camp here but then we saw the lovely little barn was available so decided to book it.
We loved it! The hut is beautifully decorated, comfy, cosy and super relaxing as you watch the sun set over the pond.
There's sheep in the field around you and ducks on the canal at the back which add to the countryside atmosphere.
This is the ideal glamping spot for when the weather is unreliable. You still need your camping cooking essentials and need to use the shared facilities (which were spotlessly clean) but you get to settle into a cosy bed instead of a tent at night. The hut even has a radiator if it gets really chilly and also has a microwave and kettle.
Friendly owner, modern facilities, a small site so it's not overcrowded, great little fishing pond... What more could you ask for?
Oh and it's adults only so even more chilled!
Disliked Nothing... Loved it here!

A great adult only site with good access to Whitchurch.
The Kestrel camping pod
Liked 2nd time at this lovely site. The `new` owner (Dawn) was really nice to talk to and her e mail, to confirm all details, was really comprehensive. The site is very well kept. The toilets/shower block/pot wash room are really clean.
The Kestrel camping pod is fab. Plenty of room with 2 single beds, a table and a couple of chairs. It`s got a nice rug on the floor so no cold feet ! Good `structure` to cook on outside. Ideal to make a cuppa or cook a meal.
It`s roughly a 30 minute walk down the canal to Whitchurch although, due to the canal breach, you now have to get off at the marina and walk along road paths into the town.
There are loads of Geocaches along the canal.
Whitchurch is a nice old town and has some cracking pubs (all of which were dog friendly)
The fishing pool has got more water in it now and they were building a new fishing pitch which looked good. May have to bring my fishing gear next time.
The cafe is superb. Really friendly staff. Good value for money and cracking food. I will be back.
Disliked The road noise although to be fair you soon zone it out
