Lovely, tidy spot handy for Forest of Dean. Pitches are grand, loos spotless, and the pizzas a treat. Staff are sound, always willing to help. A bit of road noise now and then, and the toilets could be cleaner sometimes, but folks are raving about it and many want to come back.

Liked Lovely site, not overcrowded, with plenty of open space in the centre for kids to play & adults to play. Novelty of being half in England, half in Wales. Excellent, freshly made pizzas! Also a fabulous selection of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beers. Great location for visiting plenty of tourist attractions a short drive away. Facilities were clean and always had toilet roll. Public footpaths through the site to the woods at the back was great for walking! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Free wifi in the bar area is always a bonus.
Disliked Literally the only qualm was not being able to control the temperature of the showers. There was plenty of hot water but it was too hot at times. I heard a few of the younger kids say it was too hot for them too.

Disliked Site is close to a busy road, so you can hear the traffic, but this place is still lovely.

Liked Good clean facilities, friendly campsite big field. Bar area serving drinks and pizzas. This is our 3rd time staying at Broadstone and we enjoy every visit. Good base into the forest of Dean, particularly Symonds Yat and Mallards Pike.

Liked Great campsite! Loved the location with lots in the doorstep to explore with kids.
The animals weee a fun touch and there was plenty of space in the field where we camped.
Disliked Close proximity to the road which was noisy.
There was also an illegal rave a few miles away which was blaring music through the night, but this of course couldn’t be helped. It was just a bit unfortunate. Other than these two points it was top notch!
