Lovely family run site. Shout out…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely family run site. Shout out to young Eddie for learning the ropes and helping his Nan and Auntie out in the running of the site, a lovely confident young lad. Great amenities, plenty of showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Stunning scenery. Will definitely frequent.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We absolutely loved this campsite and will 100% be returning! 🫶🏻
The campsite was idyllic, in a stunning location surrounded by hills and incredible views. The highlight was the magnificent sunsets that we saw each evening, as well as the wonderful farm animals just across the road. We particularly liked the goats!🐐☀️
Facilities were brilliant. Clean, well maintained and plenty of guidance for local adventures in the huts. Toilets, showers, pot wash, fridge/freezers, and even a little “getting ready” hut with mirrors and sockets. We used the showers during our stay (which I hate about camping) but they were really good. 🚿
The hosts, Rachel and her daughter Meg were lovely too. Very friendly and helpful, and very explanatory of the rules regards BBQs and fires currently on the site. ⛺️ Understandably, with the weather as hot as it has been recently, the Peaks are extremely dry and there is no way we would run the risk of lighting any BBQs or fires. The site have temporarily disallowed fires and BBQs and that makes complete sense; you’d be a muppet to think it would be okay when the grass seems as dry as the Sahara desert. And to be honest, we didn’t need a fire as the beautiful sun kept us warm until it disappeared behind the hills. It was gorgeous! 🌅
All in all, we had a brilliant time and will return. Thank you so much for having us, and we’ll be back soon to see the farm animals and sunsets again! 🦙🩷

Liked Shower and toilet facilities were kept clean and the campsite had great views.
Disliked Very disappointed to be told once arriving on the campsite bbqs were not allowed and we would be asked to leave if we had a bbq. At the time of booking it was stated bbqs were allowed which was a big selling point to us. I believe we should have received a message prior to arrival about the change in rules as we spent £40 on meat for a bbq which then had to be thrown away. We also would have made arrangements to stay elsewhere if we knew this prior. Communication between host and guests could be improved.
