As well as spectacular views to the Solway Firth and the distant peaks of the Scottish borders, there’s 24 acres of Cumbria to explore on this hilltop site, which has a mile-long walk around the farm, where you can take the dog for a walk and meet the resident Shire horses – you may well spot deer and buzzards too.
