Liked Lovely clean and well kept site. Close to a small village. Only 20 minutes walk to local pub and shop. Very peaceful and quiet.

Liked Friendly and welcome from becca when we arrived on site and was always around if we needed anything. Lovely views from the site and 5 minutes walk into the village which has 3 pubs and a couple of shops plus a cafe.

Liked Close to M5 have stayed here a couple of times on route to Cornwall. The showers and toilets are very clean and well kept site. Good little dog walk and play area for dogs.

Disliked Can be bit tight getting in and out of the pitches especially no7 in the corner you definitely need a motor mover. Didn’t help having a commercial van parked across the pitch opposite.

Liked Friendly welcome on arrival and warden was nearby if we needed anything. Great views over the Derbyshire dales. Very peaceful and well kept site with a pub 15 minutes walk down the road and close to tissington and Ashbourne.

Disliked Pitches were a bit uneven.

Liked Friendly and warm welcome. Very well kept site with clean toilets and showers. Plenty of wildlife round about with rabbits and my husband even saw a deer when walking the dog in the dog walking field. Very peaceful and only a short 20 minutes walk to the village pub and a short ride to the beach at Anderby Creek. Had a great relaxing weekend here would definitely come again.

Liked Friendly welcome on arrival. Pitch was next to aqua park and near to dog walking field. Level pitches and close to Mablethorpe.

Disliked A bit noisy has touring park was right at back of showbar and music went on until after 11 pm. There was a lot of duck poo on site.

Liked Warm welcome when we arrived and great views of the surrounding countryside.

Disliked We were allocated a pitch right next to the toilet block and directly at the side of the rubbish bins which wasn’t very pleasant to look out on or smell every time you opened the door. We didn’t bother to put the awning up for this reason. Can’t understand why we was put on this pitch as the site wasn’t fully booked. Would have asked to be moved but we were only there for 2 nights and didn’t see any of the staff around for the rest of our stay so didn’t bother.

Disliked Un level pitches, very close together and situated under mature pine trees that shed onto the caravan roof all the time. Also when it was wet constant dripping of dew on to caravan roof that kept us awake all night due to being situated under trees.

Liked Really enjoyed staying at this park. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed on one of the fully serviced pitches which was level and plenty of room. The park is very spacious with a dog walking field. The toilet block was very clean and the site kept very clean and tidy. A great place to stay for touring the lands end and south west area of Cornwall and a 5 minute walk into the village takes you to the village pub and shop. The pub serves great food. Will definitely come here again. There is also a good size children’s play area.

Liked Easy access from M5. Clean and well kept site with flat pitches. Close to bus stop for easy access to Weston Super Mare or Bristol.

Liked Stayed here a few times. Still love to come back for the peace and quiet and flat pitches. The site is very clean and well kept by the friendly owners. Sam is always on hand to great you on arrival and nearby if you have any problems. There is also a cycling route nearby and close to pubs with in 10 minutes bike ride or 5 minutes by car. Great for seeing wildlife. We could hear the owls 🦉 in the woods at night.

Liked Have been to this site a number of times love everything about it from the friendly welcome, the flat pitches and the easy access into York as it is on main bus route and close to cycling paths with great pubs and villages nearby to explore. We recently went during wet weather but there was no problems with flooding on site has it drains well. Pitches are good size and reasonable prices.

Disliked Nothing to dislike which is why we keep going back again and again we love it .

Liked We have stayed on this site a number of times and will return again. Very clean and well kept site with spacious fully serviced level pitches . The location is ideal for trips into York, bus service runs straight by the campsite and pubs in local villages are a short drive away. Ideal for cycling. The campsite is very peaceful with little road noise as it is set back from the road down a long drive. Very friendly owners and nothing is too much trouble anything you need just ask. Cows in the field near by which add to the country feel of the site .

Liked Stayed here 3 times like the level pitches, distance from the main road so there is no traffic noise and peace and quiet. Friendly owners. Heard a barn owl and plenty of wildlife to see. If you like cycling there are cycling routes nearby and not to far from village pub at Naburn the blacksmiths arms which serve good food .

Liked Great views of the Peak District very well kept clean site and ideal for exploring the Peak District on bikes as the tissington trail close by . Tried a ice cream from the ice cream parlour next door which was delicious. Would definitely stay here again .

Liked Great views across the bay saw a pod of dolphins during our stay. Lovely well kept site with cleans toilets and facilities. Loved the peace and quiet and being able to take a daily dip in the swimming pool has we stayed during the recent heat wave.

Liked Peaceful and quiet site close to York. Ideal for cycling and exploring the area. Lovely walk round lake spotted a oyster catcher. Very friendly owners who were there to welcome us on arrival and always around if needed during our stay. Would definitely come here again.
