Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The views beautiful and the location well placed for Dovedale, Tissington and the trail.
Disliked Pitches close to busy lane and cars speeding. Pitches not that well laid out.

Excellent peaceful site.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Ideal for a peaceful get away with beautiful views and fantastic walks on your doorstep. Perfect location for walks to Ashbourne and Dove Dale. There was a small amount or road noise, mainly from farm vehicles but not enough to bother us. The site is well kept and the hard standing pitches are level and spacious. There is a water point, waste disposal and plenty of bins. Stephanie was very welcoming and provided us with local information and directions. The site is on a working farm and the fields next door were full of lambs and calves which was lovely to see. The Old dog pub is a short walk across the fields, a welcome stop off on our walk back from Ashbourne. Word of warning if you have a portly Lab like us, some of the styles/gateways are too narrow for the dog to squeeze through so we had to lift him over.
All in all a very enjoyable stay and we cant wait to come back.
Disliked absolutely nothing.

Lovely basic site, with beautiful views
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Basic no frills site. Water tap and chemical waste provided, but no toilets or showers. Level pitches, easy to set up. Site is next to a road, so there is traffic noise. Working farm so we didn't see the owners as it was lambing season, rang the phone number on farmhouse door to reach them, and very friendly. Beautiful countryside views, very close to Tissington and Trail, Thorpe Cloud, Dovedale etc. Pub within walking distance across fields via public footpath. We only stayed one night as testing out our awning, but will definitely return to this lovely site.
Disliked Pitches themselves are level, but a couple slopined away at the edges so might be difficult to pitch a large awning.

Great place to relax for a weekend
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful tranquil site with nature all around, sheep in the next field, our cocker Poppy was watching on from a distance, but very respectful, she loved it here too.
Great walk across the fields to The Old Dog where we had a pint and a wine but no food, maybe next time.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy to find location. Great trails, Thorpe cloud and Dovedale walkable across fields. Quiet. Great selection of farm produce. Cheap and very cheerful. Great for a weekend break.
Disliked Pitches can be tricky to reverse onto. Stop at main gate and review before committing to a pitch.
