Facilities are very clean and everything seems to be thought of (including a hairdryer).
Lovely use of greenery all around the site to soften up the slate surroundings.
Very close to village with 2 supermarkets for provisions.
Disliked Felt as though we were shoe horned into a tiny pitch right next to the toilet entrance walkway.
No privacy on pitch due to location near toilet.
Need to take dog off the site to do his business as instructed not to walk dog around pitches.
Access to site is tight but manageable with care.

Liked This site is all about location, location, location.
The views are stunning. We pitched on a slight slope but it gave us the most amazing views over the Llyn peninsula. The weather was fantastic so the wonderful sunsets were an added bonus.
The site is within a slow 15 min walk to a train station which takes you to many different places. Very easy to follow timetable.
The site has a cafe and bar. Think it opens Thursday to Sunday. We had a lovely coffee and delicious cake on one visit and beer on another. All reasonable priced.

Liked Lovely clean site with well tended grass areas.
Security gated to site entrance so peace of mind.
Toilets are basic but very functional and extremely clean.
Plenty of walks in area and along the canal in both directions. Though note that the towpaths are muddy during periods of heavy rain.
Disliked Showers are across the road from site and behind the pub. Not ideal when you're carrying your bath towel, toiletries and wearing your shower cap!!!
Though fully advertised as not being dog friendly in the pub it would have been great if there had been some outdoor covered seating area so we could have popped over for a drink. The pub has a lovely outdoor seating area but because it was raining we could not enjoy it which was such a shame. We will be back to try out in the summer months
