Liked Friendly welcome and great information given about the local are. The site is very close to a restaurant/bar as well as a local cafe. We must have enjoyed as we booked an extra night.
Disliked With the site being busy the facilities are on the small side. However what there was was clean and that's what really matters.

Liked Lovely, peaceful setting. Small number of pitches which are only for adults. Facilities are practical and clean. Lots of hot water. Nice countryside/riverside setting. Really friendly and helpful staff team. Pitches nice size with easy access to water and hook up.
Disliked Quite a long walk into Stourport. Better along the river. Footpath along the road is quite narrow.
A pet hate of mine is push in buttons for showers, whilst I understand it saves water it's a pain.

From the manager: Great review and photos Tim, Thank you. The river path is a lovely walk in to Stourport, about 30 minutes. We look forward to seeing you and Simon again soon. Wishing you all the very best from Zoë, John and the Lincomb team.

Liked Peaceful site, clean facilities, friendly warden.
This is quite a small site but it has everything you need for a peaceful break. There is a carvery and pizza pub just a short approx 15 minutes walk away, the lasagne is lovely as was the carvery calzone. There's a takeaway a short walk away in the village can't comment on as we didn't use it. Tesco's the only food shop we could find is about a 45 minute walk away, however there's a couple of pubs on the way. The first pub have a great menu and we had a lovely lunch there, sorry can't remember the name of it though. Small amount of facilities but ample for our needs, lots of hot water and good showering and toilet facilities, which were kept clean. Shame some of the other campers didn't keep them clean. Oh well I suppose they were on holiday too.

Liked Warden's Jim and Leslie are great. They are really friendly and most knowledgeable. Lovely clean facilities with proper hot showers that you don't need to hold a button in. Only a short bus ride or a 30 to 45 minute walk into Stratford. Ideally placed for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle. If we visit the area again with the motorhome we are more than likely to stay at Didwell park.
Disliked I have a little niggle about showers and it's the same in many places The floor where you get dressed after showering gets wet. Despite closing the shower curtain after showering all but a small bit of the floor is wet and makes dressing difficult.

Liked The location of this site is good. Not too far from Skegness centre. The grounds are kept beautifully. Great access to local bus service.
Disliked Unfortunately the shower and toilet block is very tired and in need of a substantial upgrade. I'm much too old for cold showers. The cleaners did there best to keep the place clean, but we're battling against facilities that clearly need a lot of tlc.

Liked What a lovely campsite. Run by a very hard working couple. Lakes and Lawns Campsite is just the kind of place to get away from it all. It's a very friendly site, which is down to the obviously excellent customer service skills of Tracy and Nigel. Along with a clearly dedicated staff team it's easy to feel part of the family. As for the facilities lovely clean toilets and showers and plenty of hot water. Then there's tge restaurant where you can experience great meals at a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

Liked We found the site very peaceful as initially we were on our own in this enormous field. We hooked up to electricity supply and spent a lovely sunny day just sitting in the sun and resting. About 6pm we were join by another couple in a camper van and it was just the four of us for the duration of our stay.
Friendly owner
Shower and toilet clean
With thanks for an enjoyable overnighter
Disliked It was all fine for our stay.

Liked This lovely site, in a very small village was friendly and most welcoming. Will the owner met us with his little Jack Russell and whilst he showed us around Bella our Border Collie had a love time running around with Will's Jack Russell.
A brief stay but really liked the camp-site and the village. Just a pub, a garden centre and a shop (which only opened a couple of days in the week) so bring food with you or eat the excellent food at the village pub.
With thanks Tim, Simeone and Bella
Disliked Just one toilet, however it isn't a big site.
