Le petit hêtre FHU grass campsite
Liked Peaceful and tranquil environment with a great host. This site has so much more than the write up, indoor and outdoor loos and showers, a comunual area with seating, fridge freezer and wash up. An that's on top of outdoor seating and firepit. When it says someone's back garden think way outside of the box, we didn't want to leave.
Disliked Seriously there was nothing to dislike.

Liked The large private pitches and the adjacent trout fishing ponds for the dog walking. Very close the the village and a great pub "The Tickled Trout"
Disliked No idea why it is called a country club, no toilets, no phone signal, no wifi and barely any TV. Club house? No. It's a decent get away from it all place but at least name it correctly.

Liked Quiet and peaceful, lovely scenery and convenient as a base for touring the area.
Disliked Only two Portaloos for up to 30 people meant that they were under a lot of pressure. The rental company emptied them while we were there but daily cleaning was missed for 4 days running.

From the manager: The only day they weren’t cleaned by me or my mother was when they were cleaned and emptied. I actually said hello twice as I walked past to clean them so maybe you’re mistaken!! But thanks for taking the time to comment on that. I hope you find a lovely campsite in the future!
