Very well kept site great cafe doing fantastic breakfast next door very close to Chester would recommend! Brilliant Wi-Fi on EE network and 02 very nice management also a very handy pet store next to it if you have dogs. The owner clipped my dogs nails for me while I was staying there!

Small site. Very friendly staff. Nice cafe on the site. Good access to lots of local attractions. Outlet open at night so gives as option of something to do in an evening.

Toilet / shower block is very small and would be difficult if the site was busy. Water was cold in both showers and pot washing facilities.

Nice, quiet pitch with all the facilities needed for the night. Didn't explore much as was just a last minute over night stay due to our original booking being cancelled at another site. Free wifi a bonus

Traffic noise

We wanted to try out our new tent somewhere not too far away. Everything was really good, showers, toilets and pot wash facilities. The hook up was right next to our tent with a bonus water tap next to each pitch. Cafe on site, which looked good, but we never used. Unfortunately, it had been raining heavily and we were advised not to park on the grass, which wasn't a problem, once we had unloaded the car. Parking available by the cafe. We were only there for one night,, so can't comment on surroundings or things to do. The main thing, was that the tent stood up to the wind and rain. Still managed a barbecue.

There was some road noise, but didn't really detract from our stay.

The site was lovely and well kept. The cost is reasonable.

The road noise from the motorway on the right and the main road on the left was extremely noisy and the toilets need to be brought up to date. Due to the weather the tent pitches were waterlogged around the grass edges and could have been rectified with some paving stones

Really liked the facilities and the layout of the pitches. Also how close it was to the city of Chester.
