Liked: The site was absolutely pristine couldn’t fault it, showers and toilets spotless while we stayed.
Very secure, gated and cameras.
Close to Chester zoo which was one of the main reasons we booked it,
There is a little cafe but we didn’t use it unfortunately.
All hard standing level pitches, water connections. Just an absolute stunning little siteDisliked: Maybe a little park for the kids, mine managed to amuse themselves as we have a lot on the caravan for them.

Liked: Nett angelegt und unkomplizierte Anreise.
Sanitäranlagen einfach, aber sauber.Disliked: Der Lärmpegel ist extrem direkt an Bundesstraße und Autobahn von 2 Seiten. Ohne Ohropax ist schlafen kaum möglich. Außerdem ist die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Liverpool sehr lang und kompliziert. Mit dem Auto sind es ca 35 min.

Liked: This campsite was exactly what we were looking for as a a good value base for exploring Cheshire. Pitches were spacious and the toilets/showers were clean and worked well. There are lots of places to visit nearby. The road noise did not bother us.

Liked: Easy access to Chester. Cafe on site for breakfast or lunch. Neat and clean site
Disliked: We found the site very noisy as close to two busy roads. I didn’t get much sleep as road noise all night. We had a pitch in the center with an awning, the grass area to sit out on was very narrow and you felt right ontop of the van in next pitch. No where to put your toiletries in the shower. Also you feel very closed in as no views just hedges and other vans or tents. No where for children to play. No where to walk to, need to go out in car to get to any shops or a pub to eat.

We are pleased you found our site with easy access to Chester.
sadly the downside to that as can be seen via google and previous reviews is that we are near to a road. Each gravel pitch is 10 meters deep and 7 meters wide with an equal sized grassed area with each pitch - so we are not sure quite how much more space it is that you want ?.There are 4 hooks in each private brand new shower area and we feel that this is adequate. We are sat on 3 acres of land bounded by hedgerow, which helps both shield some road noise and gives privacy, it was also a condition of our planning permissions that we plant a hedgerow.
