Small camping field rather than acres…
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Small camping field rather than acres of pitches which was nice, and plenty of space.
We didn’t find the road particularly noisy.
The toilets were clean, grass mown.
Owner polite and friendly.
We heard skylarks in the morning, it was very peaceful.
Disliked Thought it a bit pricey for portaloos and an uncovered cold water taps.
Wasn’t expecting the owner to call round to check us in as we’d paid and put number plate into pitchup so I was in my pyjamas and putting my toddler to bed when they came by!
The road it is on is quite a fast road so need to take care walking/pulling out of the site.
But there is nothing to actually dislike.

Good location + good field. Would go again.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Good location, field was very clean and in great condition. Enough portaloos for everyone, if it was completely full you might struggle a bit though.
Disliked Quite a lot of spiders in portaloos so makes you think they aren't fully cleaned too often. We saw the owner clean the actual toilet part of them, so that's good.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked We really enjoyed our second stay at Meonside Camping. Lovely clean site located in a beautiful area. Free fire pits to use and a generous bag of wood that can be purchased for £10 from the friendly owner. Short walk to East Meon where we enjoyed a Sunday Roast at one of the local pubs. Would definitely stay again!
