Disliked Not really a dislike. We travel with our dog. It would be nice if there was a larger area for dogs to run off lead. Like I say not a dislike

Liked The toilet and showers were very clean and tidy for every use.

Disliked It was tricky to pitch the tent as the grass was very hard and we were positioned on the gravel section which wasn’t ideal. The shops also shut earlier than expected.

Liked Pod was great for a few days away site was very clean and tidy and the bar area was lovely. Staff were very friendly and engaging.

Thank you also for your feedback regarding the water point. The nearest drinking water tap for the pods is approximately 35 metres away. We appreciate that having a tap even closer could be more convenient, and we'll certainly keep your comments in mind as we continue to invest in and improve the site.

Disliked The site was ok, not much ambience, it all seemed a bit tired. Tiny sinks in wash rooms. Water was scalding hot

Clear directions to the pitch.
Reasonably quiet at night despite the closeness to the bypass.

We're so pleased you enjoyed our clean bathroom and washing-up facilities, as well as the clear directions to your pitch. It's great to hear that you made the most of the deer and bird watching hide and enjoyed spotting the local wildlife.

We're also delighted that our suggested local walks were useful and that you discovered the dog walk to the right of the kissing gate. It's one of our favourite routes too, with plenty of opportunities to see deer, birds and other wildlife along the way.

Thank you for mentioning the road noise. As you found, although we're close to the bypass, it does tend to become much quieter at night, allowing most of our guests to enjoy a peaceful stay.
