Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Friendly welcome and very clean facilities. Was a great overmight stay. I would definately visit again.
Disliked No dislikes, but an observation that due to the high & fairly exposed location, you have to be prepared for strong breezes. So bring a wind deflector.

From the manager: Thanks Chris for this lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. It is interesting you noticed the wind. In days gone by the farm was called Cold Comfort, due to the wind tunnel by the house door!
We hope to see you again, on a less breezy evening.
Thank you again for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate it.
Best wishes John and Pat
not to be missed great facilities, views and sute
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked where do I start, what an amazing place to stay, infact we are still here after extending for another night and now have the site to ourselves.
The host is brilliant and on hand to help and recommend places to eat etc.
the site has plenty of toilets both in the field and adjoining one, there are fridges and freezers available for use and farm shop that we will visit tomorrow.
there is also a woodland walk to the loggerhead pub, not too challenging and about 15min, but take a torch if ur setting back to site dusk onwards.
hope to visit again soon

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The site was clean, well kept with all the facilities in good working condition. The campsite itself is through a delightful farm and there are fantastic walks all around (easy walk to a pub as well). The farmer is lovely and helpful and they have a superb farm shop on site for snacks as well as proper meat at exceptionally reasonable rates (it's the farms meat!)

Liked Beautiful views, level pitches, all the facilities you need including a fridge and freezer. Farmer was really friendly great with my son, showing him the animals and getting little piggies out for him to stroke! There was a farm shop on site selling meat eggs and bread which I didn’t use but will next time.
