What customers say
This well-kept campground has spacious, level sites by a lovely river, great for families and dog owners. Staff are consistently praised as friendly and welcoming, with clean facilities. A pub and village shop are close by. Kids love the stream. Some facilities are dated but clean and functional. Wi-Fi can be spotty, and the popular on-site pub needs booking. New owners are improving the site.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review Carla, we're thrilled you had an enjoyable stay & would consider recommending us to your friends. Monday is the only day the 'Inn on The Green' is closed but here's hoping that the 'Crown' will be soon serving on a Monday. We look forward to seeing you both again soon.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review & your honesty. We totally accept our current lack of disabled facilities on-site but the new owners have this as a priority with future upgrading work planned during the closed season. In the short-term & on the back of your review, we will purchase a shower stool in the male & female shower areas as we want our visitors to have a safe & enjoyable stay.
