Lynmouth Holiday Retreat

Liked Pretty much everything, facilities were exceptional and the best i have come across, clean well maintained toilets and showers, on site shop with the essentials and some extras! On site food airstream was really good with a nightly special and good sized portions. Views were stunning from our bay view pitch. Would highly recommend and have booked to stay again.

Disliked This are just observations and not really things we disliked, roads to the site can be on the narrow side and lots of hills and tight bends, we don't have the best car and we made so it's perfectly accessible I would just be awareness this, some of the hill need a run up to get up! Showers cut off quickly and get very hot so just be careful of that. Like I said this is all I would say and not really dislikes

Liked Beautiful site, friendly staff, lots of space, washing up facilities really good, dishwasher was a bonus. Excellent WiFi across the park, food trucks were useful and well priced.

Liked Overall very lovely park; clean, tidy, and well looked after.

Disliked Booked a Bay View pitch hoping to have a morning and evening view over the Channel from our tent, however ended up with pitch 7 which offered no view as was blocked by other tents and trees.

Liked The location was beautiful. We had a lovely sea view from our pitch. Shower and toilets were modern and clean. Friendly and helpful staff especially the man at check in. Great to be able to get drinks and snacks onsite.

Liked I loved the area the staff were so accommodating and professional.
Definitely will book again.

Disliked Although there was no continuous flow regarding the showers. Used one hand pressed on the button for continuous use.
The Company is aware of this problem and will address this matter when the site is closed for the season as it can only be remedied when customers are not on site.

Liked Lovely site - friendly staff, lovely facilities, beautiful area. Onsite food van and dog walking area was a real bonus. Lots of "extras" that made the stay feel special such as herb garden, book swap, visits from local food providers, tea towels etc provided, area to freeze ice blocks.
Clear they cared alot about the facilities - with squigees to be used on shower walls etc
Beautiful views, lovely highland cow neighbours!

Disliked The pitch we had was right on the edge and seemed small and cramped - possibly due to its odd shape or our neighbours going right to the edge of ours. Was also right by the walking exit so was very public.
Apart from a small, hilly field at reception no real area for kids to play.
And this is a real silly thing - the showers are super close to the wall so for those of who have a "few curves" - youre touching the wall to shower! Push button didnt last long and pressure went when other people in the block but lovely and warm, great size too.
