Liked Good clean site with good amenities and great scenery

Disliked Small pitches, had a caravan behind us with about 2m in between, pitch on a slope, rabbit droppings everywhere, food over priced, cater more for static caravans than motorhomes and caravans.

As a rural park, our natural surroundings mean that local wildlife, including rabbits, are part of the environment, although we do our best to keep the grounds well maintained. We're also sorry that you found your pitch smaller than expected and not as level as you had hoped. Liked Nice friendly staff, great pub and food, all facilities very clean, had a good stay.

Disliked Only 1 male shower and 2 females ones for the whole site, got up early to ensure we had one before we started our day.

Liked Not a lot to say really, the lady that ran the site was very friendly, when initially turned up I honestly thought it was a car park, there were 2 caravans already in situ, one was absolutely filthy with weeds growing around it, the other was ok, had a VW T4 for sale, it was not a welcoming site to see, there were pitch was ok just a stoned area, the toilet areas were warm, fairly clean but could be a lot better, I had to wipe the washing over in the cleaning up area as god knows how anyone could of done their washing up in there, looked like it has never been wiped over, walked to the local pub which was nice.

Disliked Facilities, ideal as a stopover to be totally honest, could not stay for longer than 2 days, best thing was the weather, right near to a train line

Liked Not a lot at all

Disliked Shower blocks were dirty, 90% the water was cold in showers yet sinks boiling hot, could not use BBQ’s or open fires, hardly a camp site, more a static home site, may as well stayed at home to cook, miles from anywhere and taxi fares extortionate to get into near towns, internet not good as unable to get Netflix or Amazon Prime for the whole five days whilst there, a member of staff we found rude and could do with a management course, the shop was pretty limited, would not recommend for camping as no enjoyment at all.
