What customers say
A small, peaceful spot with top staff. Campers rave about the grub and the spick-and-span loos, showers and pods. Great for walkers and bike riders, it’s near the beach and boasts lovely views. Just a heads-up: loos/showers can be tight when it’s chockers, and the Wi-Fi’s a bit hit-and-miss.

Liked The pod was spacious and comfortable, my kids really liked the bunk bed. Fridge and kettle were a big bonus (tea, coffee and milk were provided which was lovely).
Super close to a pub if you don't fancy cooking!
Disliked WiFi and phone reception is not great but that worked well for us as we easily kept kids off their phones!

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review. We are coffee and tea drinkers and understand after a long journey sometimes all you want is a brew! I apologise for the WIFI, since moving on to digital voice we are having connection issues but we are working on getting this sorted. We hope to see you again soon.
Take care,

Liked Lovely site, quiet, clean and very well kept.
I cant fault the staff, in particular the lady who checked us in. She was super friendly and really helpful.
Disliked Unfortunately having only one shower and two toilets was disappointing. If the site had of been busier I think it would've been a real struggle.

From the manager: Hi thank you for your review.
We understand the frustration with only having the capacity with the one shower block, with us being a small site unfortunately we can only have one. As a result of this we only offer 4 pitches at anyone time as not to become over crowded.
We do hope that you visit us again in the near future

Awful Camping Experience
Power optional grass site
Liked The sheep.
Disliked This is the perfect campsite if you want a grumpy owner, cut grass that hasn’t been picked up, dog mess on the ground, awful toilets, a sink to wash dishes in that is in the same block as the only shower and the second toilet, rocks in the ground that make it practically impossible to pitch a tent and a shower which runs hot and cold.
We didn’t try the food but I overheard another camper saying it wasn’t pleasant.
A quick note to the owner, don’t bother having WiFi if it’s not going to work, and don’t walk over to your customers in a mood, trying to prove that the WiFi works, pretending no one else has had a problem and then go and ask the other campers if they’re getting the WiFi.
Do yourself a favour and find somewhere nicer to camp, you’ll regret going to this one.

From the manager: I feel we need to address this complaint as it is a very untrue and unfair review that was made.
I remember your arrival well, as you were not happy as there were other campers due to arrive. There was absolutely no dog mess anywhere on site our staff members check the grounds regularly and as I do not expect them to pick any up I will IF there ever is which since taken over in March we have not come across this yet. You did arrive at a point where we had no rain for a number of weeks, so understandably the ground was hard in places, you came to the bar to notify us of this and I personally moved you to a better pitch. The shower you are the first to complain about the electric shower in the shower block which to make the water hot or cold you need to physically turn it. I do not think it is fair to comment on the food as you did not enter the pub for food or drinks in the time you stayed. Our chef did come and try his best to sort out the WIFI and came down to talk you through it as he showed you how it worked to which you became rude and aggressive and accused him of already having a video saved to his phone, even though he opened the YouTube app in front of you. Along with this it was mentioned by our wonderful staff member can be hit and miss and you were extremely rude saying you paid extra even though the WIFI is a free service. Also I do have to add the damage you left to the pitch on departure as you held a fire even when there was a government alert for no fires.
We hope you find somewhere in the future that fits all your needs, sadly judging by all your previous reviews I can only assume it may take time.
