What customers say
A quiet, adults-only spot with roomy, flat sites and decent amenities. Handy for the village pub and shop, with easy Richmond access. Basic facilities are noted but generally adequate and clean. Good pitch info, though occasional power/shower waits in peak times.

Liked Very spacious flat surface pitch. Excellent facilities, toilets, showers, drinking water taps. Above all Very quiet and peaceful I loved my stay at Millfield. Very close to supermarkets lidl, co op, there is a local shop, also a pub very close by. Places of interest nearby, Richmond 10 minute drive away.

Peaceful campsite with shower/ toilet.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Just how I like a campsite; lovely and quiet. The shower/ toilet was super clean and plenty of warm water. The radiator in there was much appreciated. Good news that you have a new toilet block coming, which will hopefully mean a few more showers. The pitches are flat and spacious, with the sites marked out with numbers ( hence everyone gets a decent space.
The site is in a great location, close to Richmond and the Dales, a 10 minute walk into the village where we had a decent meal and only 5 minutes off the A1 to easy to get to. We have an electric car so it was also handy that the Scotch Corner Tesla Supercharger is only 10 minutes drive away.

Liked Nice and flat. Generous sized pitches. New shower block looks impressive, was not open sadly.
Very peaceful. Had our own tap for fresh water, ideal for filling up our tank.
Overall, a nice little site.
Disliked Nothing, everything was as expected.

In beautiful countryside yet close to amenities
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Fabulous tidy site with lovely spacious pitches. Very quiet and peaceful surrounded by countryside although only 10 minutes walk from the small town where there's a handy shop and a pub. And of course very close to the beautiful town of Richmond.
The toilet /shower block is spotless and cleaned every day.
It is a small site so I doubt it would ever be crowded or too busy.
Very easy to find and a fantastic booking in system with your designated pitch shown on a board at the entrance.
I will definitely return.
