What customers say
This adults-only, dog-friendly spot's praised for its peace, spacious level spots, and easy access to the A1 and local village. Facilities are generally clean and adequate, though some think they need a refresh (new block incoming). The 6-amp hook-up's a bit limiting for some. Despite minor issues like roadworks or limited contact, it’s a solid stopover or base, with many keen to return.

Spacious, flat and well kept pitched.…
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Spacious, flat and well kept pitched. Easy reach to either toilet block with clean and tidy facilities.
Disliked Not many toilets or showers but then not that many pitches! Might be a bit of queuing when campsite is full.

Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site

As above
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Good location for drive into Richmond.
Excellent pitch size, flat and well organised.
Excellent for hot water in facilities, and good shower.
Disliked One toilet, shared with one shower and one wash basin (at the cottage end) was not ideal, and this is the quiet part of the season.
Wash up area has only one sink. When you look at it, definitely two, perhaps three sinks could be there to ease any possible / probable congestion.
Lack of information for walks and surrounding areas.
