Liked: The things we liked: The play area, the cleanliness of the toilet/shower facilities. The friendliness of the staff. The proximity of the pub, and the amazing takeaway pub breakfast. The next door vending machine at the community centre, which dispenses milkshakes.
Disliked: The road noise, however the ear plugs offered by the campsite were greatly appreciated, and it didn't put us off.

Liked: Friendly. No frills. Clean and spacious. Basic but clean and exactly what’s needed available. Landlord, John, was on the ball with everything. Regularly checked we were ok and had everything we needed. Food is decently priced and home made. We had drinks and 4 adult meals. Cost £60. I struggled to eat all mine.
Will definitely be revisiting again. 15/20 minute drive from Alton towers. 1hr ish to Chester zoo, 30 minutes to the monkey forest.

Liked: Extremely friendly site, the best steak I have ever had in the pub! The staff at the pub couldn't do enough for you. It is a small site, but clean and well organised. Perfect location for Alton towers and Trentham monkey park. You could also visit the indoor ski slope, bowling alley and Water world at Festival Park, Stoke on Trent within a 20 minute drive. We stopped 6 nights and personally loved it. We will definitely return if this way again 😀
Disliked: Nothing. Only that we had to come home.
