What customers say
A chilled, pretty canalside spot with heaps of space, many with water & power. Staff are a ripper, super helpful, and it's close to nice walks and a classic local pub. Toilets/showers are a bit basic, could do with a spruce, but clean. Potholes on the way in are still a bit of a drama, but they're fixing 'em. Some had wifi dramas.

Liked Nice peaceful site. We live fairly local, just wanted a local getaway. No electric hook up needed. Would go again.
Disliked Didn't use the facilities so can't comment on them as I used the motorhome

It’s ok for a stay over but certainly don’t expect a lot.

Liked Location.
Narrow boats at the marina.
The trees between the pitches.
Disliked Huge gravel stones which meant getting awning up was difficult.
Constant noise from road and railway line.
Only 2 toilets and showers, constantly busy.
Felt very unsafe with leaving items at the pitch while we went out. Stayed 1 night out of the 2.
Lots of rude people around that owned narrow boats. We didn’t feel welcome.
We had access to our own water and electric but couldn’t find the waste water.
Not very disabled friendly.
No real lighting around the area.

Liked Nice well sized pitch with own water and wifi
Disliked The toilets were a bit of a walk and locked most of the time, unless you had a key like the boat people and only 2 toilets

Enjoyed our stay.
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site
Liked Very much enjoyed this stay. It was quiet, although full and everyone respected all other site users.
Pitches are a good size, fully serviced and private.
Disliked Nothing really to dislike tbh.
If I HAD to grumble, it would be regarding the road in and the driveway entrance which is very bumpy with sleeping policeman and potholes but once on site, everything was ok.
