Welcoming family farm site, top value & views. Generous pitches, fire pits handy. Basic, clean facilities (hot showers). Owners super friendly. Great for peace, walks & Peaks exploration, despite a bit of slope & noise.

Lovely site for a night or two stay.
Unpowered grass site
Liked We liked how secluded the site felt although it is just a few hundreds yards from the busy A6. Big field with lots of level areas. Nice friendly owners. Great for walking, we walked along the canal in to Cromford where there's a chippy and pubs, The Boat Inn and the small promenade next to the lake are very nice. A pizza van was there too in the market place area. About an hour and a quarter for the 3.5 mile walk. Also walked to the very top of the farm past the 'Hand of God' where the views are fantastic. Toilets and showers available which is great. Ideal for a relaxing weekend stay.

Disliked No enclosed dog area to let dog off lead. Pitches on slope was OK in our small tent but if we were to go in larger tent it would be difficult to have things on level.
