Camping Cristal D'Opale

Μου άρεσε This site is close to the beach, just a 15 minute walk, also just 10 minutes walk to town where there are some nice places to stop for food or a drink. The surroundings are lovely under the trees. They allowed us to choose our pitch which is great as the first part they directed us to was not suitable for the campervan as very uneven, extremely sandy with bits of wood and bricks scattered around. We feared getting stuck. It took us a while to find a pitch that was suitable so could have been tricky if we had anything bigger to manoeuver. We were directed to the sister site for emptying the toilet waste, which was all very straightforward. Overall a good site for a short stop over.

Δεν μου άρεσε The shower's are freezing cold which when you have to buy tokens to shower is not good, I showered both in the afternoon and morning, they were cold regardless of time, my partner did not shower on our last day as he couldn't face it being so cold. The shower and toilets were also quite dirty and often without toilet roll.

Μου άρεσε Les activités au sein du camping, ainsi que la proximité avec la plage.

Δεν μου άρεσε Les douches trop froides et payantes. Un réel problème avec les sanitaires qui s'innondent. L'attente pour la friterie, avec trop peu de personnel.

Μου άρεσε Très bon accueil avec une demoiselle a l'entrée qui donne le sourire en arrivant merci beaucoup, une deuxième demoiselle prend le temps d'aller placer les personnes au top, aucun soucis

Heerlijk onder de dennenbomen

T Allerfijnst wel dat je zo vanaf de camping het prachtige grote strand op kunt lopen/ fietsen. Door de mooie witte duinen.
Echt helemaal vakantie!!!

Μου άρεσε Die Lage ist super, die Plätze haben eine gute Größe, Bäume spenden Schatten und die Einrichtungen sind okay.
Wir waren in der Vorsaison dort.

Bezüglich der Duschen verstehen wir Ihre Anmerkung. Die Wassertemperatur wird jedoch von einem externen Fachunternehmen eingestellt und regelmäßig kontrolliert, um die geltenden Hygiene- und Sicherheitsvorschriften einzuhalten und das Risiko von Bakterienbildung zu vermeiden. Aus diesem Grund können wir die Temperatur leider nicht individuell regulieren.

Δεν μου άρεσε Pitches were a bit run down but there were plenty to pick from. Very strict on arrival times.

Μου άρεσε Proximity to the beautiful beach. Nice town with nice cafes and amazing boulangerie

Δεν μου άρεσε The camper van section is not great. Pitches are littered with bits of wood and paving stones where I assume people have tried to stabilize themselves in the sand. Sandy pictures which are fine if that's what you want and don't mind sand.

The electric points aren't close to the pitches... I had to borrow two extensions to hook up, which had to go across the track.

There is no water hookup tap so the only way of getting water is from the shower block... No good if you've got a tank in your van or motorhome.

The young man who checked me in and helped me was pleasant but there were two female receptions staff who I found quite abrupt and not approachable.

The campsite is currently undergoing a renovation and redevelopment programme, which can temporarily affect certain campervan areas and facilities. Your comments regarding the pitches, electrical hook-ups and water access have been noted and shared with our team as part of the ongoing improvements planned for motorhome and campervan guests.

Wat betreft het sanitair: het campingterrein is momenteel in renovatie, en de sanitaire voorzieningen maken hier ook deel van uit. Uw opmerkingen over hygiëne zijn goed ontvangen en doorgegeven aan ons team.

Μου άρεσε Unfortunately not a lot to like except helpful staff

Δεν μου άρεσε Sandy pitches, weeds and un kept including dog poo! Rubbish left/debris and some pitches too far from EHU. Showers and toilets dated however clean.
Only Ok for a quick stop over.
