Newlands Meadow

I found the balance perfect in every way. The site is located by a main road we didn't experience any disruption from traffic noise even though we had windows open. The shower room was really clean and well laid out as is the rest of the hut. A lot of thought as obviously gone into making your stay as perfect as possible. The outside space is amazing including the secret seat. There is a lot of small touches that leave you wanting for nothing. Thank you for making our easter break such an enjoyable experience.

We liked everything about the Shepards hut, it was warm and cosy and had everything you could possibly think of. The underfloor heating kept us lovely and warm and the honesty box is a great idea. The private outside garden area was great and we enjoyed the chimney at night and the secret seating area was great for a bit of protection from the wind. The option to design your own peace pebble is a really lovely idea and lovely to see other peoples pebbles they have made. We would definatly stay again and would recommend it to family and friends. 😊

We had no dislikes, it was jist perfect.

It was one of the most relaxing stays ive experienced. The facilities and decor made for such a comfortable and cozy stay, a real home from home, it was everything you needed and more in a small space, was tricky to leave!

We are looking forward to being able to stay again

Perhaps a more effecient means of bathroom facilities would be preferencial

Sites closeness to Malvern Hills etc and coziness of hut esp underfloor hearing.

Nearness of main road and noise of traffic, I was deterred from spending more time outside the hut due to this. Additional charges for wifi and the signal was poor.

This was a fabulous find on the internet. We particularly wanted a hut with ensuite facilities and a private garden. And this was it!! There is a hut next door, however still being completed when we were there, so didn't bother us. Lorna Loone is a very cosy and homely Shepherds hut and Jan has thought of absolutely everything. It has been made with a lot of love and attention to detail. It was our first experience in a Shepherds hut and certainly an enjoyable one. The garden is ideal for a bbq and outdoor dining and also very peaceful. It rained on our second night, which was disappointing as it was still very, very warm and too hot to sit inside. A cosy corner shelter would be a great addition, so you can still sit and read a book and enjoy the garden and a glass of wine. The chiminea was also fabulous on our first night.
The location is superb with a pub down the road (few minutes walk) and Retail Park just 4 minutes away if that by car. Upton-upon-Severn is must visit with riverside bars and restaurants and nice little town. We also enjoyed visiting Worcester.
Also loved painting a pebble. Nice touch!!
Absolutely loved this little break and will definitely return.

Amazing attention to detail, they really thought of everything you could need! The shower was great and everything was very clean. Great value for money and such a cute place.

Stunning!!! The cabin was beautifully decorated and very well kittted out. Lots of personal touches to discover and a private garden area. Perfectly located for discovering the area. And lovely helpful host.

The bed …was too soft and undulating. Maybe a wooden boards instead of the wire underneath would be an easy solution.

Comfy bed and special little touches

My wife and I recently stayed in the Shepherds Hut and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The facilities were excellent and it had all of the comforts you would expect, plus more. The Shepherds Hut was located towards the corner of the field and offered relaxation and privacy. It had its own little garden of Eden, with fire-pit, small BBQ and table and chairs to sit out of an evening. It has lovely views across farmland to the rear, and the Malvern Hills to the front.
The site itself was very clean and tidy, obviously well looked after. There is a lovely pub a few hundred yards down the road which do great meals and beers, so not far to stagger back after a couple. It is only 5 min drive into Malvern, or around 10 mins into Worcester, both places certainly worth visiting.

The only negative was the busy road nearby. Did`nt negatively affect our stay, however some people may not like it. Road traffic noise was virtually non existent in the evening/night time.

We bought the weather with us unfortunately. But the shepherd's hut was the perfect place to be cosy and dry with everything you could want and some nice unexpected touches. Would recommend for a weekend stay.
