Lorna Loone shepherd's hut
Liked: The hut itself was amazing, definitely glamping, lol, and it had all you could need in there. The privacy of the ‘garden’ was lovely, loved the wood burner outside … and the secret seat, to take cover if it showers and you want to stay outside. Also the comfy chairs inside were a blessing to collapse into when returning to the ‘hut’. The enamelled picture of the Sun ☀️ was probably my favourite bit inside the hut, it was stunning!! The location is lovely but be aware it is on a campsite. Had a fabulous time in the hut and would definitely go back!
Disliked: The fact that the top of the portapotti is enamel & hence very heavy when you go to lift it on & off to empty it. If you have back issues (yes I do, lol) you maybe better off using the toilets on site.
The Wi-Fi isn’t free , but we just used mobile data on our phones to avoid using open networks
