Μου άρεσε: Fantastic stay, David Sharon and Paul were extremely helpful and welcoming they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Great facilities too with firewood available to purchase on site

Μου άρεσε: We had a fabulous stay at Springfields campsite, its a beautiful location with views of the rolling hills and a short drive from Cheadle/ stoke on trent for shops and things with easy access to the peak district. The pitches were mowed into circles leaving a lovely meadowy area between each one, water taps and a firepit on every pitch too!
The bathrooms were clean and the showers we're lovely: good water pressure, temperature and two different shower head options.
They even have a little room with a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and washing up sinks.
We didnt have any children with us but the children who were there seemed to thoroughly enjoy the play area with swings and climbing frames.
The staff were very kind and welcoming; they gave us a windbreak to use and let us borrow a lighter for the duration of our stay as well as popping round each evening to check on us.

It sounds like you really appreciated the little details that make a big difference, from the beautiful location with rolling hill views to the mowed circular pitches with water taps and firepits. We're glad you found our facilities, including the clean bathrooms with great showers and the handy little room with a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, and washing-up sinks, so useful.

We're also delighted that our staff were kind and welcoming and went the extra mile to make your stay comfortable, even lending you a windbreak and a lighter! It's wonderful to know that our efforts to create a positive experience are being felt by our guests.

Μου άρεσε: The site, the amenities, the staff, the tent itself and the facilities. The whole place was spot on, couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return.

Μου άρεσε: We were made to feel welcome on arrival, our pitch location (we were staying in the Redwood Bell tent) was explained clearly. Every pitch is equipped with a fire pit and it's own water tap. There's a small kitchen cabin with a fridge a freezer a microwave. The site is only 20 minutes drive from Alton towers. And the Foodie Kitchen Pizza onside Tuesday night was a fantastic treat.

Από τον διαχειριστή: We're happy to hear you felt welcome from the moment you arrived and that your Bell Tent pitch was clearly explained. It's great to know you appreciated the private fire pit and water tap at every pitch, and found our kitchen cabin well-equipped.

We're also glad our location, just 20 minutes from Alton Towers, was convenient for your plans. And we couldn't agree more about The Foodie Kitchen Pizza night – it's definitely a highlight!

We're sorry the rain made an appearance during your stay, but we appreciate you understanding that's one thing we can't control! We hope it didn't dampen your spirits too much.

Μου άρεσε: Great 5 nights away with a fully serviced tent pitch. Loved the fact that there was a fire pit included ( every pitch had one ). Great size pitch for our very large tent. The views were wonderful pure country side and farm land. Owners of the site were marvellous. We plan on going back to try one of their bell tents. Facilities were spot toilets, showers and a washing up area. There’s a lovely info area which includes info on the area and a free to use library which I read about before our trip which myself left some unwanted books there for others to use xx.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Nothing to dislike. We were sad to leave. One regret we never went to say goodbye to the owners 😢. But we do know they would have been busy and adding special touches to their dream campsite xx.

Μου άρεσε: Great communication and customer service. The team; Paul, David and Sharon are nothing short of fantastic hosts (their catering team too)!

We requested a nice corner pitch and we got that plus more. Pitch sizes are very generous. We were that impressed our parents came up to stay the following night.

Quaint, unique and truly beautiful around the site. The facilities are tucked away in almost a secret little woodland all lit up with fairy lights. It had a magical feel about it.
It even has a little information shed with a good selection of books that you can read whilst sitting in the sunshine.

We stayed in our motorhomes however would not have been disappointed with the bell tents and wig-wam style tents that we had a nosey in.

Toilets and showers were always spotless, large shower cubicles where you can actually shower and change without getting your clothes wet.

Washing up area was immaculate and had more facilities than you would expect (for free) at a campsite; use of a fridge / freezer, kettle and microwave.

The pizza on a Friday night and curry on a Saturday night tasted amazing. The catering team were friendly and even came to sit and have a drink with us once they had packed up.

Huge thanks to Sharon, David and Paul for being the best hosts we have experienced in a long time. We will 100% return...... soon! :D

If I had one tiny criticism it would be the price for the dogs a little more than we would expect to pay but well worth it overall for the so many likeable points.

Μου άρεσε: Friendly smaller site with good views over the countryside from many pitches. The managers keep the site clean and in good condition. There's a space in the middle for children to play.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Dislike would be too strong but the toilet/shower facilities are a bit rustic - so not very warm when the temperature drops. (They are clean though!)

Μου άρεσε: The campsite is clean and tidy, the views are spectacular, the staff are lovely making sure you have everything you need, walking round and talking to you made us feel very welcome. The pitches are huge which you can park your caravan/Motorhome or pitch your tent which ever way you want to get the best views.
Good play area for children. Even though you are not far away from local shops or stoke itself, sitting there watching the views you could be in the middle of nowhere it’s so peaceful, time went so slow which was perfect. Will definitely be back.
No wifi but the signal was perfect.
