Positiv Couldn't praise this site enough! From the moment of arrival to our last morning we couldn't find a single thing to fault. Amy and Roger were brilliant people who made us feel welcome and at home and made the stay so much more memorable. Location was very central to both north and south coasts of Cornwall, the views were fantastic on the site and the pitches were some of the best we have ever stayed in, private, sheltered and a very generous amount of space. Facilities were on point and always clean and I believe more will be added in the future which is a bonus. Just a little note on Roger (site warden who lives on the site in his van), it was lovely getting to know him. He has time for everyone and is always on hand to answer questions or help in anyway. He really did add that little bit extra to our stay at Hillcrest. Already considering returning sooner rather than later but will certainly be back at some point in the future! Positiv Fantastic 4 night stay. The owner met us on arrival as the road was closed and we got a little lost but ordinarily easy to find! Very helpful throughout the stay. Showers were really hot and powerful, really quiet site and loads of space per pitch with your own picnic table! Also we found the location to be perfect as it's very central so can get to anywhere on Anglesey, it just gives you lots of options. Would definitely return.

Negativ Didn't 'dislike' anything however something to note is we weren't aware of any hot tap for washing up, just cold. Perhaps we just missed it but only very small thing.

Positiv I could only give 5 stars max for the customer service but I'd have given more! Matt was probably the best host of any campsite we have stayed at (lots!). He was so friendly, warm and nothing was too much trouble. The location is great. Very central and the north, south and west coasts can all be reached in 30 mins meaning you're never too far from a beach or pretty seaside town. As for the site itself, the pitches were very spacious, private, well maintained and with good facilities on each pitch. The communal area was a great space for those in tents looking to cook under a roof and also for kids to play. The site being dog friendly and with electric hookup was also great. The bacon and egg butties were a treat in the morning and I heard it from the horses mouth that a cafe will be there should we return in the future! All in all, we really didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. We hardly ever return to sites but next time we are down in that area we will be returning for sure! 100% recommended! Negativ Due to how many people could be on the site at the same time an extra shower would be useful but this is a very minor issue and didn't effect our stay.

Positiv Beautiful location, peaceful and scenic. Basic but no complaints as the price reflected that and it was exactly what we were looking for. Mick and Trudy were lovely hosts who added to the experience! Will return in the future. Thanks for a brilliant stay. Jill and James, Lancs.
