Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for visiting, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and your meal at our pub. As a side note....a little surprised re the expensive comment given that our pitches start at £20 per night and are exactly as we list, a rural campsite with good toilet facilities and no showers, no more and no less. We also run regular comparisons to other campsites and feel we are priced fairly for what we offer, I can only apologise that you do not agree...... Whilst it may appear as "a field with a loo" (albeit 6 toilets not 1 for anyone else reading this), overheads still very much exist....insurance has gone up threefold in the past four years...water bills have increased hugely...grass needs mowing weekly to keep the campsite looking its best and fuel cost has increased massively, gardener required to be employed twice monthly to trim hedges, gateways etc, toilet rolls and soap supply for toilets, a cleaner attends weekly for the toilets.....All of these things cost us money as a small independent business...so in all honesty if we were to charge less than 20 quid a night we may as well not bother and lock the gate up to the campsite permanently! So I hope upon reflection when you look at your pitch fee, I trust that you will see that actually it is pretty fair when you take in to consideration all that we do to enable you to have "a field and a loo".
