Positiv The onsite shop was the only positive aspect of our stay. It was well stocked and convenient.
Negativ The stay was disappointing overall, particularly as it was booked for a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday.
The toilet facilities were in poor condition, with frequent flooding and inadequate cleanliness.
The swimming pool also appeared poorly maintained, with visible debris in the water.
Our pitch had a significant ant problem, which made it difficult to use the outdoor table.
We were informed that my mum’s motorhome was too large to be located in the same area as our pitch, however we observed larger vehicles in the same section of the site. We were also told the area was not dog friendly, yet dogs were present on neighbouring pitches.
These inconsistencies in site rules affected our ability to stay together as a family for the birthday trip.
In addition, we found the prices across the park to be high relative to the facilities provided.
Overall, apart from the shop, the experience did not meet expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Grasbewachsener Wohnwagen-Stellplatz Shelduck (area 3) mit Stromanschluss
Positiv Nothing
Negativ When we arrived the person in the pitch next to us took most of our pitch too, when I spoke to the staff they said they would come down and sort it out. I waited an hour for them and when they still didn’t come I found another pitch and just parked there.
There was dog poo everywhere, the toilets were disgusting, somebody puked at the back of our motor home.
People were driving like it was a racetrack even though there were children everywhere. We left a day early because it was so bad

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you again for sharing more details I’m honestly so sorry to read this, and I completely understand why you left early. This is not the experience we ever want our guests to have, and I’m deeply disappointed to hear how your stay unfolded. It’s unacceptable that you had to move pitches yourself after being told someone would come and assist you and then no one followed up. That should never have happened, and I am so sorry you were left to deal with that alone. The cleanliness issues you experienced, including the dog mess and the vomiting near your motorhome, are shocking and absolutely not the standards we hold ourselves to. Our toilet and shower blocks are meant to be cleaned and checked regularly throughout the day, and I’ll be raising this directly with our team to understand what went wrong. It’s also very concerning to hear about the driving behaviour on park. The safety of our guests especially children is a top priority, and I will be speaking with our Touring Manager and team about ensuring that speed limits and site rules are not just in place, but properly enforced. I completely understand your frustration and your decision to leave early. You came here for a break, and instead you were met with stress, discomfort, and disappointment. I’m truly sorry that we let you down in so many ways. Please know we are taking this seriously and will be addressing every point you’ve raised. Please feel free to reach out to us.
