Positiv Showers and toilets were clean and worked well. Not too busy, it was quiet and kid friendly. Good for monkey world and tank museum.

Negativ Due to the dry weather we couldn’t have a fire but that’s no fault of the campsite at all, totally understandable.

Positiv What a lovely site! Showers are good, grass is stone free and short, ample space (but we were Monday night), composting toilets regularly checked, lovely views, on a quiet side road so no traffic noise, owner really amicable and on site. There’s a descent play park just over the railway bridge, the station is 5 min walk from the campsite with trains straight into Swanage or Corfe Castle (well worth a visit) petrol station with shop 10min walk and a lovely pub 10 min drive away.

Negativ Such a shame it’s not open all year.
