Negativ Very large site with large tented area and not enough showers at peak times. Multiple hired fire pits in use in evening making the site extremely smoky and unpleasant aroma Wi-Fi was a little slow and buffering. .

Positiv Nice tidy site with spacious plots. Very welcoming informative site manager. Fairly clean standard in toilet block. Near Ovingham village. Nice to hear the hooting owls at night. Quiet site.

Negativ Poor standard of washing facilities. Only ONE very dated shower with poor water flow. No TV reception or WiFi signal. VERY EXPENSIVE at £38.50 for what you get.

As you will have seen the Park has already had a major refurbishment with new turf, tarmac and trees planted etc...to elevate the look and feel for visitors. Whilst the toilet and shower facilities are fit for purpose and clean, it is part of our plans to upgrade these as well in the near future.

Positiv EVERYTHING! One of the best campsites if not THE BEST campsite we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. Beautiful well kept camp site. It had everything that you would need. Great TV reception and WiFi. Spotless facilities with adjustable shower, quiet site, well stocked shop, vending machines, microwave and kettle. A bonus was a lovely array of cute animals to see. You can see that the owners take great pride in their site. The price was reasonable but I would have happily paid more! 😉

Positiv Everything about Langcliffe was top notch for us. It had everything that you need. Pleasant staff. Good clean facilities with powerful showers. Great pitches. Super WiFi and TV signal. A nice quiet site too.

Positiv We would highly recommend High Farm. We very much liked the staff who ran the site and cafe bar. They were very attentive and the food was great. The facilities were very clean and had everything you require. There is even an animal farm on site for families to visit.

Positiv Lovely spot in the Forest of Dean. Great campsite with excellent facilities. Pristine and well cared for. One mile from The Dog House micro pub in Coleford. 20 mins drive to Symonds Yat.

Negativ No shelf in shower otherwise absolutely spot on.

Positiv Lovely secluded campsite. Very neat, quiet and clean. Great Rain showers. The Crown Inn pub with food is a 10min walk away. 20min drive to the Eden Project.

Positiv Great location. A neat & tidy grassy site. One night only stay.

Negativ Camper-van / tent area toilet facilities not clean. Full of grit dirt and hair. Needs a good spring clean in my opinion. No sink plug in the wash basin ladies toilet. May I suggest some sort of stone dressing outside the facility to stop the mud and grit. A cheaper option would be to put in a very large mat to wipe feet. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

Positiv Great facilities, friendly staff and amazing views over Wharfedale. Howgill Lodge is on a hill but has been well landscaped with level terraces. Shower facilities are spot on with nice hot rainfall showers. Five star pot washing facilities with plenty of hot water. Lovely little shop on site with warm morning pastries 🥐 and coffee ☕️available. Plenty of wildlife to see locally with the the Dales-way path 10 mins away. Excellent stay on pitch 11.

Positiv Great well established friendly Campsite. Beautifully landscaped. Massive Premium pitch with all connections. Very quiet area. Pub 15 mins away which serves basic fare. Just needs a little more power and heat for the showers. Great 3 night stay.

It’s always disappointing when people take to their keyboards rather than say “the water doesn’t seem hot”… the fact is that if you don’t run the tap at full bore the water heats up more than adequately for washing up…we will ensure we place a sign above the tap so this doesn’t happen to anyone else who can’t work out how to get hot water. Under current regulations, campsites with one ladies toilet, shower and basin and one gents toilet, shower and basin that, this will service up to 30 pitches. As you saw we operate at a quarter of this number!! The TV signal weakness is well advertised on the Pitchup booking site. Regrettably, we cannot accept blame for guests who are unable to read the basic information provided prior to booking. Our pricing is in line with every other site in the area, except we have one of the best Pubs as our neighbours 😁
